Having Trouble Logging In? Try These Solutions!

 

If you’re having problems logging into Webkinz.com, there are two important things to try that can help you successfully log in.

 

1) Clearing your cache.

 

You’ve probably heard other Webkinz players mention this! “Clearing your cache” means to clear your browser history of “cookies”, which are tiny pieces of information that your browser automatically stores from websites you visit, as well as “temporary internet files”. By clearing your cache, you can properly see updates we’ve made to the site–and it can help you successfully log in. Here’s how to clear your cache on the 3 most common browsers.

 

Chrome

 

a) Open Chrome and click the Options button (3 horizontal lines at top right of browser). Choose “History”.

 

 

b) Once opened, click “Clear browsing data”.

 

 

c) Once opened, select “Cookies and other site and plugin data” and “Cached images and files”, and click “Clear browsing data”.

 

 

d) Open Webkinz.com and try logging in again!

 

Firefox

 

a)  Open Firefox and click the Options button (3 horizontal lines at top right of browser). Choose “History” (see below) and then “Clear Recent History” (not pictured).

 

 

b) Select “Cache” from the list and then click “Clear now”.

 

 

c) Open Webkinz.com and try logging in again!

 

Internet Explorer

 

a) Open Internet Explorer and choose “Tools”, then “Delete Browsing History”.

 

 

b) Select “Temporary Internet Files” and “Cookies” from the list and click “Delete”.

 

c) Open Webkinz.com and try logging in again!

 

 

If you’re using any other browser, the process to clear your cache should be similar.

 

 

2) Deleting your old Webkinz.com bookmarks.

 

Even if you’re able to clear your cache and log in, accessing Webkinz.com from a bookmark that predates Webkinz X (for example, before July 8, 2015), may cause login problems because it’s pulling up an old version of Webkinz.com. We recommend deleting that bookmark and creating a new one.

 

Another tip? Please make sure your Flash Player is updated to the latest version. Flash releases frequent updates and having the latest version will improve your Webkinz playing experience.

    In addition to several of the problems other users have listed, for the past 2 days my dock is not showing up as well as the pet and heart in lower left hand corner of the screen. The icon on the lower right is also missing therefore I cannot do any activities. NOT GOOD!!!

    Nothing is working right! Its so slow loading assets, cache, wapi, ads non stop. I spent 4 hrs trying but eventually got Logged Out!

    Logging in is no problem once I figured out how to do it. This morning I logged in and found my doick missing, the scroll bar missing and the header that allows you to log out. I see my room and pets but can’t do anything. Please fix this problem. I miss my pets!

    When are the TV’s and swimming pools and swings going to work Why all the fuss with food when meter falls within 3 minutes, Can’t understand Webkinz anymore. My pets are all sad, I don”t enjoy playing anymore. I liked to talk with them now they demand all the time, like brats.

    It was loading for me fine, then you were down this morning, and now I have no bottom bar! I can’t change my pet or get to the map or activities!

    The trouble for me is not logging in, but my webkinz account. When webkinz X first was released, i couldn’t do anything but look around my house. My storage dock and pet was gone, the paw thing with the things to do was gone. I basically couldn’t do anything on webkinz. after a week and a half (and emailing ganz a whole bunch) my account was working. Now today its doing the same thing again where i cant do my dailies or anything. What really made me upset is ganz kept telling me it was my computer, but when i tried logging onto my younger brothers account, (on the same computer) everything was working. they wont fix my account, and i really want it fixed before the wacky celebration so i don’t miss out! :(

    I have had trouble logging in too, from different computers. It doesn’t seem to matter. More often than not, it gets stuck with the W on a blue background with the ads section showing. Sometimes when signing in I just get a blank white screen, also with the ads section showing. Usually the 2 or 3 ads play really well in the border. When I am able to log in the ads play really well in the border but sometimes the actual game plays really slow. There are some parts in the world I don’t even go when it starts with the slow-choppy performance. So please keep working on it. There are still bugs in Webkinz X. I won’t give up if you don’t. It takes some getting used to.

    Clearing the cache is not the problem. Everything takes forever to load, I get one die at Spree, my pets don’t want to get up, only sleep. If I get them up their sad. Feeding them is a problem, it says 0 of 100 but they are full without it registering 100. I haven’t been able to look for stars in weeks either, it won’t open when I click on it. Anyway this is on two computers so it’s not this computer.
