The Home Before Dark Trophy Challenge starts today (January 22nd), but don’t leave it to last minute… You’ll only have until Friday, January 26th (midnight, Eastern Standard Time) to complete it!
Here’s how to play. Look for the Home Before Dark Trophy Challenge icon in your pet’s room on Webkinz.com. It will be displayed along the left side of the room:
Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight January 26th (EST) to earn the Home Before Dark Trophy:
- Earn 150 KinzCash playing Home Before Dark in the Games Arcade
- Spin the Wheel of Wow 2 times
- Buy a CampKinz Lantern from the W-Shop
Play Home Before Dark in the Games Arcade on Webkinz.com and help the pets find their way home by rotating tiles to create pathways to their houses.
Complete the Home Before Dark Challenge before January 26th (midnight, Eastern Standard Time), to win the trophy!
The Home Before Dark Trophy is interactive. Click on it in your pet’s room to watch the sun set and be replaced by the moon!

The trophy challenge is cool, but only for deluxe members, how else can I play home before dark game. I can not play the game, not fair.
Home Before Dark is not a Deluxe game. Only a full membership (adopting a pet within the last year) is required.
LIKE TROPHY BUT !! It is AWKWARD when the MOON will not stay up . COULD YOU make this 3 or 4 wide 1 space deep and 4 or 5 high ? Let us keep the MOON or SUN as we need for an outside CAMP ROOM or HALLOWEEN . THIS could look AWESOME in a LARGER SIZE BEHIND a Halloween House or camp !!! PLEASE PLEASE CONSIDER IT deep like you have it 1 space just wider and higher . TRY it with the Halloween house and you will see this JUST WORKS !!
4 WIDE would work better with a bed in front because we can center it ;) !
It’s a trophy (and therefore trophy sized), not a room decoration.
Completed the challenge already, this is one of the easiest. It only takes about 15 minutes, luckily I had saved up a few Wheel of WOW Free Spin Coupons they always come in handy at times like this. Thanks for the opportunity to get another trophy.
Wait wait WAIT… hold on, why is zum sightings deluxe?!?!?!?!? What??? I really hope this is just a glitch because I paid for five zums that SHOULD let me play this game, which is btw one of my favourites! And what happened to magic mire 2? Same thing? I think ANYONE who pays for ZUMS SHOULD BE ABLE TO PLAY !! GRANDFATHERED IN TO GAME !! Call ESTORE because a lot of peeps won’t buy Zum any more . Sad
Hmm. I might be mistaken, but I thought Zum Sightings was Deluxe…visiting Zums and earning Zummies was for anyone who adopted a Zum. But maybe there was a glitch from a previous event that granted everyone access, and it’s only now been corrected? That’s what I understand may have happened from some of the comments about it. Hopefully we can get some clarification.

Ah, I’m gonna have to remember to do this! I haven’t been on Webkinz too much lately due to my busyness… usually, I’m only on for ten to fifteen minutes :P Hopefully I can come on more this week

Congrats! That was fast! You must have had a WoW coupon. I have a couple, but might save them – there’s an extra wheel spin today at 8pm Kinztime, so I should win the trophy tonight. I’m almost done with H b4 D – need to take a short break, first.
Thumbs down sadly . I hope they fix the trophy . The sun stays up but not the moon !! Just a real let down I was hopeing to use it in a Halloween room and a camping room at NIGHT !!
