I give up. I wil never complete level 4 and I really hate that I will miss out on the great prizes because they are definitely some of the best prizes ever offered. Maybe some of the younger players will do better, but it’s very hard for us grandmas.

I wonder how many points we need in the last levels, I have no idea who the heck can do that. Have the people who invented this challenge tried to get these scores? I really doubt that. And we only have so few days to complete.

I echo everyone’s sentiments – the requirements for CC2 are insane and truly not fair on a 2 week challenge. I honestly can’t believe the hoops we have to go through for VIRTUAL prizes. There’s no logic in it to upset your customers and many ‘paying’ customers at that. This is A GAME, GAMES are supposed to be FUN but the STRESS, and I’m not just talking this challenge I’m talking ALL of them Classic and Next, is over the top. Yes, I know we don’t have to do any of this but when you’ve been playing over 2 decades and have become a ‘collector’ it’s just not right. Please be reasonable and think of who is playing, it seems to be a group in the younger age range and a group in the older age range and we all have lives and issues. Be kind and thoughtful.

I fear whoever is good at playing Cash Cow 2 will NOT be cooked for these challenges. As for the rest of us, we’re actually deep-fried for good.

I agree with the other players, there is absolutely no way I can complete this challenge because I needed so many plays for the 750 kc and now the 950 kc in phase 5 are not possible for me, and I have played this game a LOT.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. I consider myself a decent player when it comes to this game. Sadly, I will not be able to finish the challenge because I have never gotten scores this high in the 21 years that I’ve been playing Webkinz (however long this game has been in the arcade?) I’m guessing there’ll be another chance to earn these prizes

That’s how I feel about it as well. I always enjoy Cash Cow 2 and I used to think I was pretty decent at it, compared to other people I know but I can not get to the 950 requirement thus far. With how long and how difficult it is to get this step done… yikes to even think of what they would expect at the next level. Even with an all time high score of around 1200, that was likely in one game of a lifetime and when I was probably 20 years younger and healthier to boot. It’s a shame, I was looking forward to it and thought it would be a fun challenge for a change, since it is a game I actually enjoy. Please do better next time Webkinz and please repeat all of the prizes again in a way where everyone is given a fair chance to earn them.

Teehee! I cannot get the 750 so there is no hope I will finish!

Morning everyone! I have some tips & tricks for Cash Cow 2 if anyone is interested. 1: Generally you’ll need to find the color with the fewest pieces and start top to bottom removing them. This will give larger groups of the remaining colors and more points towards your goal. 2: Use the “soda pop” (either the entire line soda pop or the immediate surround soda pop) at the end once all the groups are clicked. This will take care of the single tiles you have left and not remove potential groups beforehand. 3: Level 2 and on has a “cracked” bottle. Before you click anything, find this bottle. If not removed before the top breaks then it can only be removed by a “soda pop” bottle at the end. 4: If you see a “lightening” special bottle, then remove all sets of that color first before clicking the power up. Once clicked it will clear every bottle of the same color. While very effective, it only gives you the points for its group, not all tiles removed. So to maximize points, remove any groups first (but don’t worry about trying to get the singles hanging out by themselves before clicking the power up). 5: If you see a orange colored bottle (not top, I’m talking about the liquid being something other than the typically white milk), DO NOT click this bottle. It will give you an extra point on every single group as long as it’s in play. 6: If you get a + bottle cap, then wait until you have at least one space in every column before clicking a group with this bottle. It will add 1 row (either to the top or the bottom). In order not to waste the extra tiles (and potential extra group points) there needs to be room for the tiles. I hope this helps everyone!

@gingerdare Hi, Thank you for sharing the tips, I’m sure these will come in handy for many players including myself. I enjoy playing Cash Cow 2 but find it difficult to get a decent score. I have never been able to beat the high score of the day which is usually 1900 – 2000 have tried so many times. The best score I have been able to get so far is 1496 points I have a feeling I will not be able to complete this 8/Part Challenge along with many others, as the point criteria is way too high it should have been much lower for player to complete each part. I’m sure many players including myself are not good at playing the games on Webkinz just don’t have the eye hand coordination that many require. I am not able to play so many of the games because I have arthritis in my hands. I’m am curious to know at what Level will you see the orange colored bottle I have never seen this yet? Ganz I hope that you will have the Ice Cream Social 8 part Challenge again in the very near future, lower the points to about 1/4 of what is expected now so all players will be able to completed and get all of the boxes to earn the great prizes that are available. The point criteria that is expected now is way too high, it is ridiculous so many players will not be able to complete. I have one question for who ever thought up this challenge are you able to get the required points that are expected for each part of this challenge????

      • Lovee52 says:

I agree 100 percent. The points are way too high. It went from 700 to 750 which is not too bad but then it jumped to 950. I wish that the points would start accumulating so many players had a chance.

      • Lovee52 says:

I play exactly as you have described. So far I have only made it to 750 on this challenge. I have a question. What is the orange bottle? I have never seen that and am only assuming it is way high up on the point scale as you have been able to reach.

      • jsforfr says:

I saw on the Webkinz FB page, Sally Webkinz said her high score is over 3000 and that the original points requirement was set even higher. How crazy is that?! *smh*

    • granma4 says:

Thank you soooo much gingerdare for all your tips. This game is more complicated to win than I knew about. Now if I can just remember everything when I try to play.

    • kalcan8 says:

Hi @gingerdare! Thank you so much for taking the time to share these helpful tips! I am going to try again, using your pointers to see if I can somehow pass level 4. I will come back and let you know how it goes. (Is the orange bottle a higher level thing, because I’ve never seen one?)

      • kalcan8 says:

Ok, I’m seeing some improvement. I think it doesn’t help that I am really rusty at this game. I’m now on level 5, and I think I will be able to get to level 6. But that will probably be all. I’m also only going to focus on my main account, because why would I want to spread the suffering any wider? My hope is that I will be able to get as far as I can on my main, and hopefully get a couple of levels on my sides, and then send prizes over to my main. Even poor gamers can still have strategy. LOL!

        • kalcan8 says:

@gingerdare, I do have a question about your strategy listed above. I’ve been looking for the cracked bottle first as you recommended, but in one game it was the sole yellow piece with no other yellows close by. Do you have any possible suggestions for that scenario? I just let it break and later got lucky and had it wind up on the same row as the row-blaster soda can. *whew!*

          • gingerdare says:

You did exactly right. Without any other same-colored tiles within a few clicks (usually 2 or less), you have to take it out with a soda at the end. I’ve never been able to overcome this, as it comes down to luck. But I’m glad you’re seeing progress!

    • FCmomof2 says:

Thank you for your very helpful information. With your tips, I have been able to get enough of a score for five of them (before that it was tough to get the third one). I’ll try and see if I can get any more.

    • beeka514 says:

Thank you so much for these tips! I’ve been able to finish the challenge because of you!!

@gingerdare thank you for your tips – they have been very helpful

I also can not get past level 3. Glad I am not alone! I do have 3 seeds so that is good. Sigh.

  10. hlands2 says:

The points per level are just too much! 350, 450, 600, 750, 950.
