I guess I can see your point in giving newer members a chance at old, possibly retired pets, but you should have given them new names. When you redid the brown lab you called it cocoa. This new black lab could have been ebony, midnight, onyx, jet, shadowy, any number of things. You could have called it the cute or chubby chipmunk to distinguish it from the original. If you ever make the black lab or chipmunk pet of the month, there will be confusion as to which version gets the extra activities.

I love these new pets! I know some people are sad your doing recreations, but I personally think the new models show how far the company has grown in style etc. I wanted to suggest some pets we don’t have yet though! I think it would be really cool if we had a “peachy poodle” or a tan colored poodle. I also would love to see a regular German Short Haired Pointer Dog! And if you all here at Webkinz are redoing some of your older plush, I would love to see a revamp of the classic Red Fox. Thanks for always working hard ganz!

What a let down, both of these pets already exist. Was really hoping for some newer more different pets, well I guess ill have next month to look forward to to buy a new pet as I wont be buying repeats. ):
I think Ganz is running out of ideas, which is understandable, because they’ve been making webkinz for 10+ years.
Not a single person involved in the Webkinz company can come up with a single animal that hasn’t been done, while I can name a good forty just off the top off my head.
Webkinz seems to be obsessed with making dogs. They should make more obscure animals, like reptiles and insects.
Happy dance I finally have a POTM. I have the lab. Can’t wait to do the activities. The croc is pretty cute I will have to think long and hard if I want to get him.
Sorry, bear 10201, but the black lab is not a POTM. The black lab and chipmunk are the “new pets” for June. Only the monkey and croc are POTMs.

Someone form Ganz please. Please give us a sign. There usually is someone watching. Why not now, when we need it the most? Please give us a sign! Please give us a sign that you listen to our suggestions. Please prove to us your communication is very clear.

I predicted both of these! I do like them, but as some others have addrssed, I’d like to see some more original pets instead of remaking old ones.
