Collect Acorns from your friends on Webkinz.com to win fall themed prizes for your pets. To access your collection, open the THINGS TO DO menu and click on the link to the Kinzville Map. Then, click on the Acorn icon to open your collection.
Every day you’ll get one FREE Acorn just by clicking on the icon (Deluxe Members get 2 FREE Acorns a day), but you can ask your friends for 5 more daily. You can also look for the floating Acorn on WebkinzNewz.com and click on it to have it added to your collection.
Collect all 50 Acorns to win the grand prize, a Fall Fun Tree Swing, but you’ll still earn prizes along the way, including an interactive bag of leaves and leaf pile that your pets can play in:
Remember, you only have until midnight, September 30th, to complete your collection. Don’t leave your collection to the last minute. Each time you collect 50 Acorns you’ll get the chance to play through it again!

I’m also on my second go around. love the prizes. didn’t get on webkinz yesterday. was out all day exploring Valencia, Spain with my family. walked across the bridge of flowers. it’s so beautiful. my feet were sore when we got back to our hotel. the time difference between home and here is crazy. the time here is 9 hours ahead of where I live with my family. when all over Italy last year. Spain is nice but hot.
I too am having problems in the collection of acorns, it will not open, which means I can’t request from friends, and when I try to check my messages, the whole page looks like it has a black film over it. I’ve sent screen shots to Webkinz Support yesterday but, haven’t even received their automatic response email. I’ve used IEll, Chrome, other browsers, cleared cache, you name it. Does anyone else have any ideas? Oh, and I’ve updated flash, and anything else that I can.
I have also had problems opening my Acorn Collection, but I discovered that if you go to the Fairy Forest with Magic Mire, etc then click the cross out of it then it comes to the map naturally and allows you to open up the collection. If you just pick from the chart then it won’t work.
same problem with me it’s very frustrating been this way for 2 weeks
I also can’t get to my acorns today to get my free ones or to request from friends. I have tried 3 different browsers and followed someone else’s tip to do your daily’s in the arcade and then try again. Help!
Try going back to your room, and then immediately going back to the Kinzville Map.
I did that Sally and it still did not work. I am a different player but my acorns won’t open either. I’ve cleaned cache out and that did not help either. I think game is broke for some of us. Hope they can fix it.

Mine has started working again. I think they must have been doing something to the game at the time it quit. Thanks !! Hope it keeps working . Second time around and really wanted the leaf floor.
I am also having problems getting the acorn icon to work today, I will keep trying….
when I click on the icon it’s not letting me request acorns from my friends today, it worked every other day,. Is anyone else haveing problems with it today?
Yes, it did that for me, too. I went to the arcade and played the daily games, then went back to the map and the acorn icon worked fine. Hope it works again for you :-)
I got the first prize.. but how do I remove it from the floor? i placed it outdoors and i can’t select it to move it D: also I’ll add friends! my username is jooce
you have to pick a spot at the center of the item. It is the same as any item you wish to move………….I find it difficult also but keep trying !!!!!!
