Here’s how to play: From December 1st – 31st, look for the Candy Cane Collection icon on your Kinzville Map and click on it to see your Collection. Everyday, you’ll get 1 free Candy Cane, just for clicking on the Collection icon (Deluxe Members will get 2 free Candy Canes a day).
Once you have received your free Candy Cane, you can get 5 more throughout the day by asking your friends (by clicking the ASK FRIENDS button) or by finding and clicking on the floating Candy Cane on WebkinzNewz.com.
Please collect your free Candy Cane from your Kinzville Map before getting your floating Candy Cane on WebkinzNewz.com. Some players have been experiencing issues with getting their free daily Candy Cane from the Map if they have collected the one from WebkinzNewz.com first

I’ve just finished my second go-round and am loving the prizes – Thank you!! FYI – the gauge/meter thingy is still not working though. At least, not for me anyways.
What is frustrating to me on this promotion is that most of the time I do not get my daily two free candy canes. Maybe twice a week I will actually receive them. Why? This is also happening to my sister.
Hi bertnelson – I hope my suggestion helps you. Make sure you do your candy cane collection in this order: First, collect your free candy cane (two if you’re deluxe) by clicking on the collection icon on the map page. Next, ask your friends for more candy canes. LAST, collect the Webkinz Newz floating candy cane. DO NOT collect the WKN floating one before clicking on the map icon. If you do, that messes up getting your free ones from the map. Make sure you read the first part of the above article. Best wishes!
Thanks for your answer! Yes, I always go to Newz before I go into my Webkinz account. I like to see what’s going on so I know what to do when I get into my account. I am probably not the only person to do it this way. Since the problem with receiving the free items has been going on for over a year, I wish Ganz would fix it. I guess this is just another glitch to deal with!
Totally liking the grand prize, I hope to get 3 and have a fancy decorated yard.

I actually already finished it and am now working on my second, heheh. I don’t know, but I haven’t even used the furniture yet.. I guess I just haven’t been into making rooms lately or too busy to do so.

Oh and this doesn’t have to do with the items but please Ganz hear me out. My internet is terrible, it use to load Webkinz fine, now it takes forever to do anything since the new webkinz came out. It lags, glitches and takes forever to load which I don’t really understand considering I play a few MMO’s (One of them was my beloved Free Realms R.I.P.) that you would think would take A LOT more internet, but they run smooth. This is why I don’t play Webkinz that much, I get frustrated and quit. Why is Webkinz being so rebellious? :(
Hi rainelda – sorry to hear you’ve had issues. What browser do you use? I use Chrome myself, and it works well for me on both my deluxe account and my regular one. Make sure you keep your history is cleared and your cache clean and don’t have anything running in the background, either. Have you kept up with any updates as well? Best wishes to you.
