Cute idea. I wish it was in game play on Classic & Next, not on social media. This household is not joining social media for a random chance at a prize. Sorry WK

Aww man! Why couldn’t this be finding the sloths on the Webkinz Newz page instead of on social medias? A lot of people don’t do social medias.

I choose not to have social media – for those that do, have fun with the contest.

I know not everyone uses social media, but I hope this is super fun for everyone who does! I know I’ll be keeping an eye out :D

I also don’t do any social media. Oh well–good luck to everyone who does.

Aww, cute sloths! ^-^ Love the matching outfits! Don’t think I’ll be participating in this, though… I don’t do social media. I know this is probably meant to help Classic and Next gain more visibility and enthusiasm, but I honestly don’t how I feel about these recent social media promos… I guess it’s fine for older fans, but I personally don’t think it’s a good thing for younger kids to be encouraged to use social media apps like TikTok and stuff. Just my two cents.

I completely agree with you. I don’t do social media either and I think it sends the wrong message to kids. Since Webkinz is designed for a younger audience, I don’t think they should be encouraged to want social media.

    • KarenaJ says:

To be fair, most are using them anyway to one degree or another. Especially young adults who played as kids, so it’s a good way to connect with that audience/player base.

    • FoxesRule612 says:

Yeah, I agree with you about younger kids, Taffy. To engage the original fanbase or to help remind them of childhood it’s fine, but to encourage young children to use social media….I’m actually writing an argumentative research paper about how giving young kids smartphones is a bad idea. :T

  9. my1kinz says:
