I really, really wish I could get the rainbow retriever, but my baby retriever Flip has growth issues (Ms Biscuits said she’s fine!) and has only had one growth moment so far. By the time she’s grown (which will probably be next century) and can combine her spark with her retriever dad Steve (sounds less gross than it is) the rainbow retrievers will be gone! And I don’t have enough money to buy it anyway. Sadness!
Oh no, I meant to say is less gross than it sounds! It’s weird to say “breeding” because it isn’t, but essentially it is, and “combining their sparks” takes so long to type (2 seconds! So long!)
How do I get the babies?
I’m sorry to say that these are not for me – too many sequins and rainbows and huge glittery eyes and they still seem to be made from the same basic pattern. I cannot justify the price. When the Signature Pets were in the stores, I thought they were too expensive but I eventually bought a couple because they were beautifully crafted and very realistic.
I hate how much they look like Beanie Boos and how they don’t have any W’s on their paws.
I KNOW! webkinz used to be so original and amazing, now they look like every other plush :’(
These give me that Beanie Babies feel, it’s quite good, could have some tweeks but yeah.
Yes, they look like Beanie Boos. I am kind of wondering if, they are copying Beanie Boos. Although, they are cute but too much glitter and shimmer. If they we’re plain that would be better.
The new Webkinz is really cute. I absolutely love when my cat claps. Unfortunately there is a horrible glitch with the pet meter. Sent a ticket. It breaks my heart for my pet to cry he’s hungry and I feed and feed but his meter doesn’t work. I can’t stand that even for an imaginary animal
I know! My first Webkinz was a White Persian Lil’ Kinz that looks like a replica of a toy kitten that I had when I was a toddler! I cradled that little prize in my arm as I walked home with her and began my journey with Webkinz back in 2008!!!!
Is there a formula for the babies where the two plush creating the baby that all babies will be the same or will every baby be unique? Just curious?

do I like the concept? no, not really. are these plush adorable in comparison to the unicorn and retriever already in existence? yes. do they look cheap in comparison to ‘classic’ webkinz plush? yes, yes they do.
I have the unicorn and I agree that it looks super cheap – but in person, the materials are actually really high quality and it’s definitely not a cheap plush. I much prefer the older Webkinz plush though.
