In past years we could wait 8 hours and try for a second coin. I didn’t see this in the rules this year. Too bad!
You can find him every five hours, according to a previous post. :)
You can collect another one in five hours.
You can ‘collect colors’ every five hours.
Ya know, provided it doesn’t take FIVE hours just to find him the first time!

Well I finally found him and when I clicked on him it said error occured and froze my whole computer. Happens every time. Guess there is no leprechaun chase for me this year.
My two sisters and I looked everywhere in the clubhouse for Leprechaun and none of us could see him! My older sister spent over 20 minutes in the reading room and he did not appeared there. Please fix it!
I’m reading these comments & it seems some players are having trouble finding the Leprechaun. I have found that the best way to do this is to choose one Clubhouse room & let your pet wait there. The Leprechaun will show up within 20 minutes or less if you’re lucky. I open a second window on my computer & do other things while waiting. Be sure your sound is turned on & you’ll hear the Leprechaun announce his arrival, then click on him. If you switch from room to room looking for him it may not work as he may be switching out of the rooms you’re switching into & thus may seem impossible to find. I think they should rename this event from Leprechaun “Chase” (because chasing him around often doesn’t work for people) to Leprechaun Coin Collection.
Another good tip is to always do this event with a pet that either has a full family score heart, or is asleep. Otherwise, your pet will make a request while you’re waiting for sure, & if you leave the Clubhouse to fulfill the request, you’ll have to start waiting all over again. I’ve found the Leprechaun on all 3 accounts this morning in less than hour!
That’s what I do. I choose the reading room and read the books there or wait at Daisy’s and do some cooking.
That is what I do, too, but I have been in the same room for thirty minutes now and no Leprechaun. :/
Ha, yeah, key phrase there, ‘if you’re lucky’. I have 16 accounts, and so far I’ve made very little progress on any of them — most none at all — because of all the times I’m sitting in ONE clubhouse room for an hour or more waiting on this freaking leprechaun. Also, dunno if anyone else is having this problem, but several times I foolishly got excited hearing him upon the room loading, only have the entire room freeze, with nothing working at all. A couple of those times, the Change Rooms button worked, but most of the time I have to log out and log back in.
I’ve had those problems too starting today. I don’t know why It’s taking so long between Leprechaun sightings, either. Yesterday it ran fine!
spent over an hour this morning with no luck trying again now, but dont have all day to sit around and hope he shows up
I found him in the reading room and I clicked on him, butnothing popped up because pets were crowded around him and blocking me!! Lucky disappeared before I could get a coin. :(
I had to hide my dock before I was able to click on him and be awarded a coin.
What type of animal is lucky? I always thought he was some cute little otter…

Saw him for an instant when I went in a room, but he left before i could click him. He must have been there for a period of time before, so he is out there, all I need is patience XD Also, I am glad that he makes noise when appearing so I can browse Webkinz Newz or something while waiting!
