Wow! With the launch of the new Webkinz last year, this year’s Webkinz Day on April 29th is doubly exciting. And to help celebrate, we’re bringing all of Webkinz World together in a celebration of community! That means that Webkinz Classic, Webkinz Next, Webkinz Newz, and our wonderful fan community will all be represented. And to help make it happen, we’re excited to introduce our brand new Community Coordinator, Holly Hopper!
Holly will be working hard around Webkinz Classic and Webkinz Next to help unite the communities of Webkinz World. She’s planning some special celebrations to recognize all the parts of our Webkinz community!
Look for Holly in the new Community Room in the Classic Clubhouse starting April 10, and keep posted for more details about exciting new events in both Classic, Next, and right here on Webkinz Newz!
Join our celebration of community this month!
Will we be able to add Holly to our friends list in Classic?
Probably not.
Welcome, Holly.
Welcome Holly Hopper!
Welcome, Holly! I hope you enjoy Webkinz as much as I do.
I love the new Webkinz! Took some getting used to. I’m very happy it’s sooo different from Classic. Love the 3D aspect, new characters and my family is growing fast. The babies are adorable especially.
Me too. I just downloaded it the other day and I like the new art style and simplicity!
Welcome Holly it will be fun to meet you :)
I gotta be honest here, but I’m just as creeped out-if not more-with Holly Hopper as I am with Ms. Biscuit. Sorry, Webkinz. It’s not what I’m used to.
I know! when I first saw this I literally SCREAMED!!! Sorry I just think this looks really creepy.
Ok, is it just me or does Holly look like a cross between the traditional look of Webkinz Classic and the 3D look of Webkinz Next? Honestly, the combination is just a little creepy. I know that ALL the creation teams work really really intensely on these characters and I do not wish to seem disrespectful or mean; however, this character’s look really does not work for me.
It’s weird seeing a rabbit with human fingers.
That part is a little odd. However, I don’t get the creepy vibe some are getting. Especially from Miss Biscuit. I love that she is also an Adventure Scout Leader! I’m hoping that we will get some more Scout quests on both Classic and Next this summer!!!
Yeaah.. she just doesn’t look quite right. At least in this picture anyway- she has no neck.. I think that’s one of the problems, as her head doesn’t look very connected to her body.
This would have been a great job for Debbie Dragon. She’s been unemployed since the travel agency closed. I miss her.
I’d actually forgotten about Debbie. (Of course, the Travel Agency was too expensive for me to visit very often.) Seems like it’s about time to have some sort of recognition for all the hosts (including those that currently only judge competitions or host arcade games) even if its nothing more than a WKN feature naming all of them and providing some details/description. (Hmm… Maybe Ella could do an interview series.)
Oh, there is a good idea!
Also, I agree that Debbie would have been a logical choice. Hosting the Travel Agency seems like it could be good experience for uniting the communities. (Maybe they have some plans to bring Debbie back for something else.)
Me too! I miss the old Vacation Island and Spa setup! Everyone could enjoy it and it was not NEARLY as expensive! I SO miss Debbie Dragon! I’m hoping that we can get her back in some capacity soon. Maybe even go back to the old style of Vacation Island. I understand special features for Deluxe, but did they really have to take away things that classic players already had? Just make some of the new games Deluxe or fix it so that Deluxe players get an extra spin on the Vacation Wheel? I think that the long and the short of it is that we want Debbie Dragon back! I would also like to see the other Chef back as well. I didn’t get a chance to meet her before she was gone!
I can’t wait until everybody gets together to do this. Must be a good community challenge and prizes you can’t get anywhere else, hopefully.
That does sound like a lot of fun!
