Wow! Once again we had a ton of great entries in our 2021 Room Theme Design Contest! It was a tough decision but we have narrowed down the list to 10 finalists. But we want to thank everyone who posted a design. The submissions were all fabulous!
While the final decision is up to the Webkinz Classic Creative Dept., we want YOUR feedback to help us select the winner. On Monday, March 22 and Tuesday, March 23, visit Webkinz Newz to cast your vote for your favorite theme.
The winner will receive an Item Design Trophy and a code for the new House Mouse, and all finalists will receive a 2021 Spring Super Mystery Bag!
We can’t wait to see which theme will be added to the Webkinz Classic W Shop in May!

Grandma’s House Theme
I didn’t have a theme to go with it, but my idea for a new item was a dressable manikin. It would be a great way to store and show off your clothing collection!

Congratulations everyone for your great ideas and submissions. I’m torn on which design I like the most here but I must say I love the ideas of the Portside Viewing Bench, the Staycation Theme and the Webkinz Skatepark Ledge.
Having missed the news of this contest, I decided to look at the all the submissions and wow can I also say I thought these themes were also interesting: Book Nook, Charming Lace, Cozy Datcha Living, Currantly, Earthy Papasan, Hanging Gardens, Lagoon, Luau, Modern Doodlez, Oyster Throne, Pool Party, Pro Gamer, Sunset Rooftop, Teacups and Lace, Vivacious Velvet. I really appreciate everyone’s originality.

Grandma’s House!!!
Wow, all of these designs are so creative and adorable. I’d have to say the froggy cottage and skate park designs are my favorites! Ultimately, I think the skate park should win because it is pretty unique compared to all of the other room designs out there and we’ve already had some frog themed rooms. I agree with some other comments I saw about there not being enough “boy” themes as well. (I also really enjoy skating myself hehe). I’ve also been thinking recently that webkinz should release “skater” type outfits (ex: pets could wear skateboards like a backpack) and if the skate park theme won the contest this would be the perfect time to do that!
Awww I LOVE the GRANDMA THEME Soooooooooo MUCH! It makes me think of my Grandma’s House… I miss her so much!
Oh wow! I love the froggy cottage chair and the Grandma chair! So cute! Can’t wait to see what wins!
