The fabulous Mod Holiday theme, designed by player Resonatingthunder, is back in the WShop until December 31, 2021! And we’re so excited because in addition to Resonatingthunder’s beautiful items, this year we’ve added three new items designed by players Boper, Chocolatekat, and Cakis!

I love that the new things don’t have to be JUST for the holidays! They go well in a lot of different rooms!
I wish that free players could buy every piece of furniture because its annoying that I can buy somethings but not the couch
I know how you feel, but there is a deluxe preview week from Dec. 25-31 so you should be able to pick up all the reg/deluxe items currently unavailable to free members.
None of the items say deluxe so why can’t you buy them?
Some of the items are only available for deluxe or regular members. Free members can’t buy things like the couch, window, tree, fireplace, bench. If you are a free member, a symbol shows up on items that can’t be purchased.

I agree with the nook placement being awkward as it will not rest against a wall. I moved it like 10 times and had to keep rearranging the room.
Love the new items. However, missing the matching armchair, dresser and balcony! Good thing I picked up extras last year. I have 3 MOD holiday rooms now, since I had to make an extra one for the nooks.
I don’t remember that piano either — and I don’t have one!
The piano was the prize for the Deluxe Challenge last December! It’s really nice and plays a Christmas song. The dresser/cabinet pictured above is NOT in the Wshop along with the other items, also the chair and balcony window is missing. We also got a matching lamp, but I can’t remember where that came from. Maybe a free code from podkinz?

@KarenaJ & emster7: the armchair, dresser, noel sign, balcony and dresser were from the 2020 candy cane collection event. The piano is from the December 2020 Deluxe challenge and the wreath was from WKN.
I love this theme so much! Congrats to my friends Thunder and Cakis, and also to chocolatekat & boper! Beautiful theme, but I agree with JulySunflower, it has awkward settings in placement.

I wish the sleeping nook only took up 2 floor squares instead of 4. It’s not actually big enough to need 4, and the awkward sizing makes it difficult to place in the room. It doesn’t rest against any walls properly, but it’s too big to put anywhere else without getting in the way. Also the fact that the table is 3 squares long but only has 4 plates on it is frustrating. The furniture is all super cute but there is a pretty obvious design flaw when trying to decorate.

I know, right? I do enjoy this theme, but the table irritates the heck out of me with only four plates and the bed taking up so much freaking space. Like how are we supposed to design with all of these flaws.. sad thing is I absolutely love this theme & how it’s not Deluxe.
I agree. Tried to put the nook in the room and it just felt awkward. I put mine in another room, but wish it would’ve been just 2×1 like you mentioned instead of 2×2. I always say I wish I could be a designer at Webkinz, it would be SO much fun!!!!!
I think the nook’s size might have something to do with it being a working bed
True, but I know some nooks that take 2 spaces. Like the penguin from 2017.

I picked up the new ones yesterday, and as I was looking to place them in my current room, I discovered that I just might have to make a second room instead. That my friends is a good dilemma to have!

I had to do that! make 2 rooms! The dividers are awkward also . but i do love the theme!
