Hey Guys, I am excited about today’s post which features 7 room designs by expert designer; Autumn! These rooms are all inspired by the Harry Potter books & movies. Autumn actually sent me more than 7 designs, but I had to narrow it down so I picked my favorites.
Thanks to everyone who sent me a screenshot of their room… keep them coming!
first up is Autumn’s version of Harry’s room under the stairs in the Dursley house. Great design, especially for a small sized room:

This beautiful outdoor room features the Hogwarts Express on the way to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Autumn has added Ron driving his father’s flying car after the design was finished:
Here’s a look at the Great Hall inside Hogwarts. Prof. Albus Dumbledore, Prof. Minerva McGonagall (cat on left) and Prof. Severus Snape (bat on the right) await the arrival of the students into the Great Hall.
I really like this design. It’s Hagrid’s Hut! The pumpkin patch and dragon statue are great touches:
This one is also one of my favorites that Autumn sent in. It’s Gringott’s Wizarding Bank! look at all that KinzCash:
The final two screenshots are classroom that would be found at Hogwarts. First up is the Denfense Against the Dark Arts class:
This last design is probably my favorite out of the 7 (although it’s so hard to choose a favorite). It’s the Herbology Class. There is so much going on here but everything is so well organized:

Micheal, I think it would be cool for you to do a let’s build on a room themed around Harry Potter, since webkinz has a magic school challenge! (Or whatever it’s called)
Wait, does this mean I should have sent in my Game of Thrones room? I figured copyright issues would have kept current fiction out of the spotlight. Hmmm….
This is unrelated to the room designs featured above (Which are AWESOME as I have stated in a previous post). I have a question: can anyone tell me how large the family score prize “excavation under glass” is? I have a really great idea for how to use mine, but the size of it is key to my design. Normally, I’d just wait, but my really cool design idea has to do with rare items that will take some time to collect, and I’d like to have the setup ready when I finally earn that family score prize. Thanks!!!
Hey Sweetie~ it’s Autumn. First, thank you for the compliment. ;) To answer your question, the Excavation Under Glass is 5×5 (or 1/4 of a large room), same as the big grass tiles in the WShop. ;) Your room sounds like it’s gonna be very cool!! :D Happy decorating! ;) <3
Excellent! That’s exactly the size I was hoping it would be! Thanks for telling me, and also, congratulations on earning that piece already! That’s a huge accomplishment! I’m still a long way off, but I’m hoping to get my Webkinz Wisdom Trophy before my 10th Webkinz anniversary in August. The day after that will be the grand opening of that project that I need my excavation under glass for. I’m not saying what it is yet, but I will be sending my designs in when I’m finished. Anyway, thanks for answering my question, and again, those designs are awesome!!! Well done!!!
Nicely done on the use of extra digital elements, Autumn! Hedwig is a great addition but I see you have customized several things. Love the wardrobe in the DADA class too! “Ridikulus!”

Wow, Autumn. It’s clear that an enormous amount of time & creative energy went into this project. I know Harry Potter through my kids, & your creations do justice to the story & look just right. Congrats!

Autumn I am just at a loss for words. Your rooms are Outstanding!!! I loved all the Harry Potter movies. You really were on the mark with every single one of your rooms! I also made a Harry Potter room with the screaming “mandrakes” during their class. It was so much fun to design. Now admiring your rooms it makes me want to design some more. Again your rooms always amaze me and it really is my favorite part of WKN. You should be so proud! Have a great day!

LOL Yours is one of those comments that make me blush and leave me at a loss for words. <3 From my Heart, I just send you a big thank you hug. <3 :) I do hope you continue to make more H.P. rooms! They are really fun and sometimes challenging. I actually have over 30 that I made to tell the story incorporating every movie. It took a long time, but it was also very relaxing and enjoyable. Hi there sweet Autumn. You are so very welcome and thank you so much for the friendship hugs. I meant to tell you that when I placed all the children at the table with their “mandrakes”, I had the blue earmuffs on each of them! That was one of my favorite scenes from the movie so I thought you would enjoy that little diddy. Wow that is just amazing that you have over 30 room dedicated to HP. That is so impressive. I Love that you had the mandrake idea with the ear muffs!! :D I would enjoy seeing how you designed yours! :) What did you finally use as the mandrakes that sat on a table? You're so cute, I Love it!! :D <3 Originally, when I was making this room, I did buy all the ear muffs to place on the pets, however, the mandrakes (in the lower corner of the Herbology Class on the floor) are in the furniture section and not items, so I was unable to place them on the table as I had planned. That was one of the biggest bummers for me in all of these rooms. I enjoy these rooms so much. I have read some of Autumn’s comments, the only improvement is for there to all the room posted. What the WHAT!?! Autumn said she has 30 rooms of this. Thank you for touching my Heart with your beautiful comment. I feel so happy when I’m making rooms. Being able to share them and see others’ shares are wonderful, but the thing that touched my Heart was that you save them and they make you smile. :) I never think of my rooms going beyond here on WKN, but to know they are something that brings out a smile in someone is just the BESTEST EVER!!! I really appreciate all you have said here and thank you for wanting to see the rest of the rooms, as well.
