Since last summer, we have announced the retirement of close to 80 Webkinz plush pets. These were very popular plush designs which had been completely sold out of our warehouse, with no plans to ever make more. Congratulations to all the players who managed to add one of these rare pets to their collection!
We would like to let everyone know that we will not be retiring any more plush pets this summer, but we will be continuing our retirement program in the fall, at a less frequent rate. Throughout the past year we were announcing a new retirement close to every week. This will be reduced to approximately once a month, with a special retirement event EVERY week for those who have a registered retired pet on their account.
We also apologize for all the Webkinz Guinea Pig owners who were unable to play the Counting Sailboats game on Saturday July 5th. We will be rescheduling this game for Guinea Pig owners on Saturday August 9th. Good luck counting those sailboats and looking for prizes!

I am also glad to slow down the retirement schedule. But I would also love to see more realistic pets but NO more dogs please. We all have enough and it gets boring to see the same body in a different color or fur. We LOVE our plushie Webkinz and are soooo hoping you aren’t slowing manufacturing those too!!!

Yes I do people might say It’s kinda boring for just a dog to be your fave animale but I say dogs are AWESOME! Yes some people are tired of puppys but come on It’s not like saying that Is going to stop kinz from making them! No offense I’m just an ultiment Puppy, Webkinz, and Pink fan!

Why do webkinz pets retire anyways?
it is becuse when poupular pets are sold out and ganz dosen’t plan to make more then they will retire the pet.

one time i got the rainbow dog or puppy (i forgot) before it retired and it did not let me do the count the sail boats game. i was really upset.

Thanks for rescheduling ganz, i have the guinea pig and it was disappointing when the sailboats would not work. I am glad that the retirement stuff is done for the summer and will become less frequent, however i was hoping that it ended for the rest of the year or something. Close to 80 pets seems like too many, Ganz.
80 webkinz is alot thats like almost the same amount of webkinz i have on webkinz world
Are you going to sell the tartan terrier going to be for sale for everyone?
I wasn’t able to get the guinea pig before its retirement. But I’m glad to have received its PSI through a trade purchase. It will stay in my collection always.
