More Webkinz Room Designs!

This is the last batch of room designs I’ll be showing before the finalists for the next Room Designs Awards are revealed on December 27th. By the way, everyone featured today has the chance to make it to the finals, so good luck!

I still have a large backlog of rooms to get through, but I have included several holiday themed designs in today’s group, since we are well into the festive season. Enjoy!

Michael, I am very curious as to the room designs named Pet Buddies Home and The Alley. The backgrounds are so different than any wallpaper I’ve ever seen in Webkinz. Been a member since 2008. Please explain.

The wallpaper of Pet Buddies’ Home is the City Center wallpaper. And the Alley is the Industrial wallpaper, I think. Both have been available at the eStore for quite a while. Some wallpapers look really different when used in small rooms.

wow, those are all fabulous!! Sometimes I think I need to hire a Webkinz room designer. My poor pets have to put up with my lack of creativity.

Sometimes there are so many rooms featured, and the pictures are so small, that I don’t really notice all of the details the first time around. But then I come down to the comment section and while reading the comments I go back and check out all of the things that people are mentioning. That’s what happened this time with the Holiday Soup Kitchen by Foggy. I went back and really studied it, and it almost brought a tear to my eye. This seems to be the 2020 version with social distancing and masks, but no less heartwarming. I’ve helped at the soup kitchen at my church before (although ours never looked so festive!), and if you have never tried it, I strongly encourage you to give it a go. It really helps you to appreciate all that you have and develop an attitude of gratitude. And it feels awesome to help to make someone else’s holiday a little brighter! Thanks, Foggy, for giving us all an opportunity to change our focus!

And, just to add another two cents, soup kitchens, code blue shelters, and other social programs are really hurting for volunteers right now due to the pandemic. Even if you’ve never tried it before, if you and your family are healthy, willing and able, you might all surprise yourselves and find a new family holiday tradition that you really love!

Loved The Alley and The Painted Ladies. Wondering where those houses in the painted ladies came from? they don’t look familiar?
