Ahhh! Emerald, this video is AWESOME!! You’re so talented, and I liked how in the beginning Winter was pounding on the piano! It kind of lagged for me, but OH IT WAS AWESOME!! You’re so talented, and I love mysteries! And it’s funny that Flurry didn’t want to get up. XD I’m looking forward to your next adventure, and I will definitely stay tuned! Your next one should be about Winter and Flurry going Trick or Treating and getting stuck in a haunted house! And dogfish definitely deserved her very own shoutout– she’s an awesome player! The voices in here are awesome! This is your best yet, and thanks so much for sharing! You deserved being featured on here by Webkinz. Are we already friends on WW? I’m 09xStarlightx09 if we’re not.

And I love how one part of the room is clean and the other one is messy! Paws up if your room is the second one! *raised paw slowly*

LOL, thanks, MLP! I love your enthusiasm! And it makes me very happy that you enjoyed my mew-vie. Yes we are friends in WW, you are on my emeraldlyn account. As is radishbird, isn’t that you, too? I’m so glad you liked the cast voices. I know the credits go by very fast, but did you notice who was the voice of Grannie? It’s my husband, Himself! I think he did a fantastic job, & we all had so much fun & laughed a lot over it. The wacky things Webkinz players get up to in their spare time, right?

This is amazing!!! Emerald you are so very creative. I loved the sets and the characters and the songs and the story. I can’t wait for the conclusion! I just want to thank you so much for sharing this with everyone.

    • 1Emerald1 says:

Thank you blurayne, it is my absolute pleasure to share my stories with the Webkinz community. I’m so glad you liked Grannie’s Attic. The conclusion is already in production but will take awhile, as they always do. In the meantime, please enjoy my Halloween story, The Quest for the Freaky Forest, which is also on KinzTube. You can really see the development of my production skills through the 3 episodes of that story. I promise I’ll do my best to hurry up with the conclusion to this one!

      • MyLittlePony2010EG13 says:

Ooh, I can’t wait! Remember, even though some peeps can’t hardly wait because they love your work, you shouldn’t rush yourself. I’m sure your talents take time, and while we’re waiting, we’re patiently going to imagine what you have in store for us next. =D

  3. Beckinz8 says:

This. Is. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to know how to do something so creatively wonderful! I can’t even imagine how much time these videos take. I think that this was your best one yet! I loved the train scenes! Thank you for sharing your love for Webkinz with the world through your humorous stories and spell-binding animation. It was wonderful to see you give a tip of the hat to ~dogfish at the end! I know for a personal fact how kind, thoughtful and generous ~dogfish can be, and it’s so nice for them to receive their own personal shout out! Eagerly awaiting the next installment… :D

    • 1Emerald1 says:

Thanks for your lovely comments, Beckinz8. The train scenes were one of my absolute favorite parts to make this time. I love the royalty-free music we found, it was so right on, it was almost like it was written for the piece! A lot of fun was had and a lot of magic happened during this very long production. All sorts of things I didn’t originally plan kept evolving & making it better. I totally agree about the awesomeness of dogfish, who was practically a one-person prop house, all I had to do was make a request for something I needed and, voila! They are truly amazing. I love Webkinz and Webkinz players, you guys are the absolute best!

I love these videos! They seem so complicated to make. I’m pretty familiar with how to create and edit videos, and I can’t imagine how long they take to complete. They’re so well done.

    • 1Emerald1 says:

Thank you, Itswebkinztime. You are right, the editing takes a very long time, and then there’s everything else like sound, graphics, color correction etc. I wish I could get them done faster but well, you know, life. I’m really glad you enjoyed the show!

      • Itswebkinztime says:

You’re welcome 1Emerald1! Yeah, there’s no way to speed up the process of editing. It’s very time consuming. I definitely enjoyed it and I can’t wait until the next episode. :)

    • MyLittlePony2010EG13 says:

Ah, so do I!! I especially love skits!! Mockingbird Inc., sassycat143, Fuzzyhusky, NetterKinz, and so many more have awesome skits!! BBFFF!!! ()..()

  5. ngeorgianow says:

Your awesome room designs, ingenious use of in-game abilities mixed with editing, and a cool story make for an adorable video! Can’t wait for the next part

    • 1Emerald1 says:

ngeorgianow, thank you for every word of that. I appreciate it! I keep thinking we’ve maxed out the in-game animation and then I find something else that works. It’s been like a treasure hunt. That said, this program was designed for game play, not filmmaking, so it’s a lengthy process to get it all done & get it right. Part 2 is in production now though it will take awhile…they always do!

  6. dinosaurtracker13 says:

This is amazing, Emerald!! It feels like I’m watching a full-scale official Webkinz animated series! (I’m also super happy my starry telescope could contribute to the set!)

    • 1Emerald1 says:

dinosaurtracker, thank you so much. That is pretty much what we’re trying to achieve. It was a long project but worth the work. Your starry telescope was perfect for the opening song, there went the shooting star! Congrats again on your winning design, I love the final result.

  7. dogfish says:

Thank you so much for this. I just commented about it and I guess Sally got to work. LOL I was so impressed by my good friend Emerald’s talent that I tried to share the link. Big no no, but here it is. Thanks , you guys really do listen to us. DF

  8. lavandar says:

i love all the different sets for the story :)

    • 1Emerald1 says:

Hi lavandar, thank you for that. Designing the sets is one of my favorite parts of making these videos. The train dining car set was the most challenging one to execute. This all started with designing rooms for my Webbies but I got kind of carried away…

  9. Unicornluv246 says:

I loved it EmeraldCity! Please make more! Feel free to send a FR to Petlover365Bark. And question, when you featured the people in the prop department, do you know them in life as well? It seems like it and I wish I knew people who play Webkinz.

    • 1Emerald1 says:

Thanks Unicornluv246. I’m 1Emerald1, though everyone calls me Emerald. EmeraldCity is another friend. I’ve sent you a friend request, it will come from emeraldlyn. I’m already working on the second and final chapter of Grannie’s Attic, thanks for the encouragement! I’m with you, I wish I knew people in real life who play Webkinz too. The people on the prop dept list are all Webkinz friends whom I’ve gotten to know & chatted with in the comments & forums here on the Newz & on Webkinz Facebook. All are very kind & generous souls!

      • Unicornluv246 says:

Thanks for the info Emerald! BTW, is there anything I can help you with? I would love to help out. I wish I could help out with the movie. :)

        • 1Emerald1 says:

Thank you so much, Unicornluv246, that is really nice of you. I’m not looking for props right now but when I need something I’ll post about it in the I Need This Item forum here on the Newz.
