NEW Exclusive Items!

Every time you adopt a new pet in Webkinz World, you’ll be given a random Exclusive Item in your pet’s gift box! You can also save up your Wish Tokens and deposit them at the Wish Factory, or you can try your luck with winning an Exclusive Item by making the Wish of the Day!

And NOW AVAILABLE, there are 3 NEW Exclusive Items: an Eat Here Sign, a Red Heart Alarm Clock, and a Castle Wall Shelf!

What makes these Exclusive Items even MORE special is that each one on them is based on an actual item which can be found out in the real world—maybe even at your local retailer selling Ganz merchandise!

To make room for these new Exclusive Items, we’ve retired the Antique Lamp Post.

Started playing in late 2007 and had no idea items would be retired. I do have an awesome collection. Ganz is Canadian, so not sure why there’s no new Hockey Theme. I love the retired theme and was lucky enough to get it. Please give us an opportunity to pick up older items. Ganz is a business, so maybe the estore items could be less expensive and tradeable.

Question: Can you put things on the shelf?

    • Eilish says:

The shelf just hangs on a wall. The other two are animated. The clock actually rings an shakes as it rings. The lights in the sign are “chase lights”, that is, they light from the bottom, up toward the arrow point.

But a nice item HERE would be FIRE !! Add a WINTER FIRE PIT with a log to sit on . IT will sell like a FIRE SALE !! EVERYONE of us has a winter room inside or out .CAMPS also need a WINTER DRESS-UP !! JUST a thought for a way to HEAT this up a little ;) .

That is cool they are based off of real items! I wish they weren’t so expensive though. I am trying to remember if I have the post or not.

OK – I broke down and bought the new clock and thought I’d share my experience so you can decide if you want to spend the 30 TOKENS or not. First of all, the resale value is 213 kc. When you click on it, the clock shakes and you hear a jangling old time alarm – how many of you besides me had to wind up your alarm clock to wake you up before school? It sounds like that. It is small – when placed on the floor it does not come up to my doggy’s chin. The clock hands are fixed at the 10 and 2 as shown in the above picture. This is a NON-WORKING clock, y’all! Just like all my other clocks in my rooms. The heart shape is cute, but it’s hardly worth 30 tokens. Well, that’s my 2 cents. ;-)

glad to see they fixed that eat here sign! ;) I’m looking forward to getting the red heart alarm clock and the colorful sandcastle shelf! it would look great in a beach house room!and as for the clock,it would look great on a side table next to any pet’s bed.

This is random, I know. But I’m not sure what to do! I tried sending Michael a room design, and all I said was: “Hey Michael! Here is my new pet Sheldon’s room!” And put a picture of the room and sent it. And a minute later I got an email With the subject: “Too many hops.” And it said stuff like, ” —– The following addresses had permanent fatal errors —–
    ” And ” —– Transcript of session follows —–
    554 too many hops 21 (20)”

30 Wish Tokens for each of these items is WAY TOO OVERPRICED! So presumably, all new Adoption Exclusives will, from now on, cost 30 Tokens each? Even if you’re planning on giving ALL Webkinz players a way to earn more Tokens (which I personally highly doubt), jumping from 15 to 30 is just plain mean and unwarranted.

Such true words. Everything is going up even the pet prices. I have been playing for a long long time and it doesn’t change Ganz mind no matter how much we beg and plead. I hate the food and money on the wheel of wishes and super wheel and the deluxe spins. I would never wish for food, we all Love prizes that’s why we play. Don’t hold your breath for ever getting the retired items being brought back,it just won’t happen:(

THEY FIXED THE TYPO FOR HOMEMADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Treehugger says:

Why do exclusive items have to cost so much? I will never be able to save up enough tokens. I get like one a month if I’m lucky. Will we ever be able to get retired items again? I wish Webkinz could bring back the Lily Pad, Football, Hockey, past Halloween, and past Christmas W-Shop room themes, the Egyptian and Kooky Scientist Curio Shop rare room themes, retired clothing, retired holiday and special event clothing and items, and retired exclusive items. Maybe they could be Curio Shop only. Maybe Arte could just sell these retired items and current rate items and leave the W-Shop items to be sold only by the W-Shop. It would certainly help item collectors that are new to Webkinz and do not have a lot of time or valuable items to trade.

That would be AWESOME, Treehugger. Love your suggestion. I would LOVE to see some of these items return; if not in WW, then at least here on Newz. They could be part of the GW Moneyz prizes or something. We joined Webkinz in 2006, but we didn’t manage to collect some of the items we really wanted before they were retired. There were even items that retired before we knew they were in the game. Even though we’ve been playing for a while, so many players want to trade for pet special items and super beds and stuff we just don’t have, so I don’t visit the trading room very often. I’d be happy to find a purple T-shirt for my Glamorous Gorilla (there aren’t enough purple clothing items for her–she looks great in purple, and she’s a bit of a diva, lol)

    • Catmom46 says:

I agree with you Treehugger and I have been playing since early 2007. Trading can be fun to get new old items, but I think new players would enjoy it more if there was also an opportunity, even just once a year where Webkinz could offer all the retired items for kinzcash as a blow out sale in the curio shop. It could be a new event that is exciting and fun for every webkinz player. But still rare because it can only happen once a year. Sending a big thank you to everyone at Ganz for the best game ever.

      • Treehugger says:

Love the blow out sale idea! It would be a great new event that would be so fun! That way the items could still be purchased but also keep some of their “rareness”.

    • FoxesRule612 says:

OOH I love your idea!! It’d be soooo great to get that Kooky Scientist theme I’ve always wanted!

    • FoxesRule612 says:

Or, maybe those “retired” items could be sold at the Wish Factory!

    • Flyingeagle says:

Wow that would be awesome! I’ve been playing Webkinz since 2008, and I would love to finish my collections!

    • MyLittlePony2010EG13 says:

That would be sooo awesome, Treehugger! My older sister has almost 300 tokens, and she’s had her virtual account since 2008 or 2007, and I’m from 2009 and keep spending my tokens on ‘other stuff’. You know? Oh my gosh, yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! those are some of my favorite room themes. I’m actually looking for Egyptian items for my room on Webkinz. I think Webkinz was MUCH better when it was 2015 and under. I liked everything about the old Webkinz. I really miss it, and that was my CHEOLDHEOD.(childhood) I have superbeds that I would trade for retired stuff, but everyone in the Trading Room is all “picky, picky, picky” now. And a lot of them put up items, and then just ex it!

    • puppies4me says:

Treehugger, that’s a GREAT idea for Arte to NOT sell W-Shop items. I mean it’s a CURIO shop! We have real-life curio shops in town. It’s fun to browse over-crowded isles of oddities and gizmos, like the store on “Gremlins”, but without the Mogwai Gizmo, lol. (However, I do think a Webkinz Mogwai [*not a Gremlin] would be adorable, especially as a plushy. But GANZ would have to talk with Steven Spielberg about that!) Sorry, I digressed. Anyway, in a real-life curio shop, there would be no items that are available in a real-life “W”-Shop! I’d like to see some things all you guys are talking about. I’ve never heard of the Kooky Scientist Theme. And there must be a lot of retired holiday items. So, Arte, what about it?
