Hello Kinzville! Today marks another update in Webkinz and I’m here to talk about what’s new.
- Days of Play are coming to Webkinz World starting August 28th!
- Ms. Cowoline is handing out prizes until September 4th. Don’t forget to log in and get your prize each day for the Super School Give-A-Way!
- The Acorn Collection Event is returning during the entire month of September! Visit your Map of Kinzville next month and click on the icon to collect Acorns. Collect all 50 to win Grand Prize!
- Player Appreciation Week is coming on September 7th – 13th! Log in during that week to get a gift box full of never-before-released Daisy Doe’s Diner items!
- Don’t forget—you have until the end of August to win a Wacky Jet Backpack, Giant Zangoz Plushy and WackyER Zingoz Arcade Unit! Play the Wacky Zingoz Celebration Challenge by clicking the icon on your Map of Kinzville!
We’ve also made MANY updates to Webkinz X to get it working better! Here are some of the highlights:
- More item fixes!
- NEW arrow button to hide/show bottom UI (Pet, Dock and Things To Do menu)
- Added support for shorter screen sizes (no more scroll bar)
- Fixed bug preventing some pet requests from being completed in the Arcade
- Improved performance in Clubhouse and Kinzville Park
- Added sounds for feeding and dressing pets
- Improved “Zzzzz” above sleeping pets’ heads in the room
- Permanent Log Out button added to top right corner of screen
- Fixed KinzPost bug which didn’t allow multiples of the same item to be sent
- Improved cache system (less need to always clear your browser cache)
- 77 various other technical fixes

(Although we’ve made improvements to our cache updating system, if you are experiencing a technical glitch you can still try to clear your cache to see if it resolves your issue.)

Oh, and can a volume button be added? That would be great for playing while someone else in the room is trying to watch tv. ? Thanks.
Has the outdoor background been removed? Or is it my acct.? Also, is the bar at the top going to remain this large?
Hiding the dock has made the *wheels* and cash cow 2 function, for that…Thank you! I’m still not sold on the “energy” and heart filling however.
My dock keeps hiding on its own, even when I don’t want it to. I have to keep clicking the arrow to see my dock. Please fix this. I would like to always see my dock (until I choose to click the arrow to hide my dock). Thank you. :)
Thanks Ganz for all the work you are doing with Webkinz X. Overall I am extremely pleased with your well thought out ideas. I love the new features and the new look. I love playing Webkinz!!! Yahoo!!! It is my favourite relaxing thing to do!!! I also love the community. They are very friendly, creative and helpful. Thanks again and these latest fixes are great (and appreciative)!!!
Wonderful – thanks so much for fixing the dock and no more scroll bar and everything else you have fixed. What a lovely surprise this morning when I logged in. And it hasn’t been locking up as much as it has been either. Only a couple times today. YAY

You are going to fix everything forever! You gave us new items and they are not working, could you check them before giving to us? Cannot place anywhere Kinzville Valley Home, checked all rooms: inside, outside, underwater. Where can I place it? It’s just sitting in my dock absolutely useless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
