Hello Kinzville! Today marks another update in Webkinz and I’m here to talk about what’s new.
- Days of Play are coming to Webkinz World starting August 28th!
- Ms. Cowoline is handing out prizes until September 4th. Don’t forget to log in and get your prize each day for the Super School Give-A-Way!
- The Acorn Collection Event is returning during the entire month of September! Visit your Map of Kinzville next month and click on the icon to collect Acorns. Collect all 50 to win Grand Prize!
- Player Appreciation Week is coming on September 7th – 13th! Log in during that week to get a gift box full of never-before-released Daisy Doe’s Diner items!
- Don’t forget—you have until the end of August to win a Wacky Jet Backpack, Giant Zangoz Plushy and WackyER Zingoz Arcade Unit! Play the Wacky Zingoz Celebration Challenge by clicking the icon on your Map of Kinzville!
We’ve also made MANY updates to Webkinz X to get it working better! Here are some of the highlights:
- More item fixes!
- NEW arrow button to hide/show bottom UI (Pet, Dock and Things To Do menu)
- Added support for shorter screen sizes (no more scroll bar)
- Fixed bug preventing some pet requests from being completed in the Arcade
- Improved performance in Clubhouse and Kinzville Park
- Added sounds for feeding and dressing pets
- Improved “Zzzzz” above sleeping pets’ heads in the room
- Permanent Log Out button added to top right corner of screen
- Fixed KinzPost bug which didn’t allow multiples of the same item to be sent
- Improved cache system (less need to always clear your browser cache)
- 77 various other technical fixes

The update states that the bug that was preventing some pet requests from being completed in the Arcade was fixed, but I am still having this problem. The fix for sending duplicate items has been fixed – yippee!! I am having the trouble with the grey box appearing at the bottom of the screen as I navigate to different areas – mostly to My House, but has happened a few other times too. I can only log out, there is no other option. Just doing dailies this morning I was logged out / kicked out / froze up 12 different times. It will sure be nice when these issues are all fixed!
With this last update, whenever I try to go to my House via the quick button, it replaces my dock & navigation area with a grey box. I can close this box, but everything there disappears. I can still play where I am at and I can use any of the buttons at the top of the screen, I just can not navigate anywhere else, so the only option is to logout and log back in again. I can go home via the map, just not the quick button. Is anyone else having this trouble?

I REALLY appreciate the “show dock” at the bottom of the screen. I play on a macbook air and my dock doesn’t show half the time. But I can now click on the green arrow and the dock pops up so I can put jumble berries in the jam jars, etc. It is SO helpful! Thanks, Ganz!
I do like the hide & show dock button – way over on the right side of the screen, I just wish it wouldn’t hide my dock each time I slightly miss the arrow buttons while searching my dock! lol

Thank you, My pet finally has their kinz chat back! Still missing my deluxe gift for august??? I have sent support a couple of emails about this but still nothing.
The new updates have made the website so much better and easier to use. Some items still need to be sorted as to their location in the room as I have quite a few that are showing a long way from where they were placed and some still invisible or beige squares. Very happy about being able to play Goobers Atomic game and see the bottom row of the game again. Goober’s other game still has major problems. I am trying to complete an Adventure Park quest, but each time I try Goober’s game crashes despite trying until I run out of moves, deliberately clicking to leave when I have the required 1000 points or allowing the time to run out when I have sufficient points. It has been this way for a long time, please fix it. Thanks.
Yes – it was even that way before X came around! I hope Goober’s Lab gets fixed soon :) But I have also noticed that Hoppy Rocketship does not play they same anymore….you can no longer bounce twice on the same cloud because once you jump on one it goes off the bottom of the screen. That game just got a whole lot harder because of that, and unfortunately I need to earn a whole lot of kinzcash on it for a challenge. Any chance a fix is in line for that game?
Sorry, the zzz’s are just as horrendous as before – the heart meter is acting completely goofy and feeding my pets has become costly again as they aren’t registering hardly anything. I’m getting very frustrated as an adult – can’t imagine what this is doing to the kids who play.
