Room Design Awards – Meet The Finalists!

I’m always honored to present the finalists for the Room Design Awards! There are 25 in the group and 12 will be awarded a Room Design Trophy. None of the finalists have ever won a Room Design Trophy in the past, so I am very excited for each of them!

On January 1st, you’ll be able to vote for your top 5 favorite designs, and those results will be used to determine 8 winners. Mandy, Sally, Steve and I will then pick our favorites, and those 4 designers will each earn a trophy as well.

Congratulations to each finalist! Your designs are excellent and you each deserve to win a trophy.

Please take the time to look over each design carefully and don’t forget to vote on January 1st:

Don’t forget to vote for your top 5 designs, right here at Webkinz Newz, from January 1st – 3rd. You’ll only be able to vote once, but please don’t leave it to the last minute! Look for the “Time To Vote!” article on January 1st. Click on the article, then click the VOTE NOW button to vote.

I will posting the results the following week.

Good luck finalists!

Those are so gorgeous! Ive seen simple and cute rooms that I have quite enjoyed, but WOW these are spectacular! These finalists are very talented, and I am excited for what will happen next for each and every one of them!

Thank you Michael for including my room :) There are so many talented designers that always make amazing rooms so I think it’s fantastic that you give the opportunity to players who have never won an award to do so. Best of luck everyone!

Your “Pixie Hollow at Dusk” room reminds me of a colorful, magical, welcoming secret garden. You seemed to take such care with your plant and path selection and placement. The delicate garden oasis pieces go perfectly with the Victorian garden items. The golden apple trees are a perfect fit, and I didn’t even know that there was a similar green apple tree. Can you please tell me the name of the adorable cottage that you used, and if you know whether or not it is still available? Great job, @ichthus, and congrats on being a finalist!

Your “Enchanted Forest” looks lovely, magical, pure and untouched. It would make such a soothing vacation spot, but sadly, too many tourists would probably ruin the pristine condition of the spot. It looks like some lucky traveler gets to enjoy it though, as I see that someone has set up hammocks on the bottom left of the room. The water features and flowers would make it a heavenly spot for me to set up a lounge chair and just sit and take it all in. Great job, @aastrs, and congrats on being a finalist!

Your design does a great job telling a story that makes the viewer laugh and shake their head at the same time! I guess Gary is THAT student, the one that every teacher dreads getting in class. I love the teacher’s reaction, and the rest of the students don’t seem too alarmed (maybe they are used to this kind of thing by now!) I think it may be time to evacuate the building and call the fire department. Great job, @wildpony6, and congrats on being a finalist!

I love your soothing “Silver Fox’s Room” with it’s warm and inviting Fall colors. It looks like the perfect place to kick back and relax! Can you tell me what that flooring is called, and let me know where it comes from, if you remember? Do those curtains or blinds open, and if so, what does the view look like on the other side? Is the table in front of your silver fox an interactive chess or checker board? I see that he already has a steaming mug of cocoa waiting for me (my favorite!) I’d be happy to join him for a game or two (even though I’d probably lose!) Great job, @gadsfavs1, and congrats on being a finalist!

This is very late, so I don’t know if you’ll even see it, but just in case, I wanted to let you know that I loved your room. It was so nicely done. I voted for it, and I was bummed it didn’t get a prize. I hope you submit more rooms. I’d love to see them!
