Hello Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof – back with a final Webkinz Votes 2016 report! Salley Cat, a close friend of Mayor Cowabelle and member of the ‘Kinz, has joined the race. You can read her speech below.
“Hey, Kinzville! First off, I want to congratulate my good friend Cowabelle on her amazing job as Mayor! She’s proven that age is no limit when it comes to running Kinzville, and I hope you’ll remember that… because now it’s my turn!
“You may remember that I was new in town once, and I sometimes had a rough time of it… but you know what helped turn everything around? The friendships I made with others, especially the ‘Kinz! And a big part of our friendship is getting together and having fun. Now, it’s true that going on an adventure can be fun (the ‘Kinz do love Adventure Park, after all!), but Dex is only giving away two adventures, and Amanda Panda and Dr. Quack’s campaigns are great but they could be more fun.
“No, what I want is a more permanent way to up the fun factor in Kinzville! What’s the best part of going to school? Recess! Even Ms. Cowoline knew that, which is why I’m taking up her cause and promising to reduce the number of days until Recess from 15 to 10! That’s more digging, more hopscotch, more merry-go-rounds and more finding Wacky!
“If you think Mayor Cowabelle did a good job, then you should agree with her that a ‘Kinz who understands kids’ issues should represent them as Mayor. Vote for me, Salley Cat, on November 30th and I’ll make sure the FUN IS HERE!

I don’t go to school much either. So, recess? Meh…I think I will probably to with another candidate. Maybe the good Dr. Quack. He needs something to do anyhow.
I never really send my pets to the school. Dr. Quack is still my number one.
Sally is a great choice, but I am voting for Dr. Quack!
I agree with Salley Cat, the friendships that we have with others is definitely one, if not the most important part about being a community, and by adding and having all the fun that Sally says she can provide will just make our community stronger. Salley Cat has my vote for sure!
I appreciate the chance to participate in the democratic process in electing a new mayor for Kinzville, but I must say I’m disappointed in the choice of candidates. Dr. Quack has been around since the beginning of Webkinz World, and hasn’t really had an impact beyond a clinic that became obsolete because it served no real purpose. And the idea of a food that fills up the bars for the pet is interesting, but it will likely come at an expensive price point or with conditions as to how many can be used. Don’t even get me started on Dex, but reality television has no place in politics and Adventure Park packs will quickly be used up and we’ll be left with a mayor who has no grip on reality. As for Salley Cat, I was optimistic about her potential platform, but she’s basically capitalizing on the success of Cowabelle’s campaign, which was successful because it offered a monumental change in how items could be placed in rooms. Shorter durations between recesses aren’t helpful unless the kinzville academy is reformed so that classes such as strength actually can be completed by the average person, or they bring tutorials back so one can pay to finish the class. As for Amanda Panda, she is obviously out of touch with working class Webkinz, as indicated by the insanely high prices on the new exclusives. No one can afford 400 tokens, and to bring back old exclusives from retirement is only to take away what makes them special – how rare they are. I have a few retired exclusives that I love, but if they come back, they will lose their value. So I don’t know who I will vote for, although I think Cowabelle should run for a second term, on a platform that will allow us to move rooms around or delete them if we don’t need them. That’s the kind of change I want as a voter, and I have to say the candidates in 2014 were much more appealing than any of these ones. Or let civilians run on their own ideas, and then appoint a representative to implement them! ~ponyunicorn
I agree with the 80%. I don’t believe Dr. Quack served no purpose at the clinic. I agree with you about the food, but definitely not about Amanda.
Salley Cat has one blue eye and one green eye! How cool is that!! I never noticed it before. She has my vote. And my grandma got a faster computer and my pets are not doing good in school! I may never get past level 1 again. lol
I wish they would give us a summary of the candidates’ platforms. I don’t remember what Quack was offering. :-( This is a difficult choice.

I don’t want to get you mixed up with Sally Webkinz now…(hahaha!) Well, I don’t know you very well Sally Cat but I do think you are really cute and sweet! Again, this is just my opinion but I’m not convinced that you can take this job seriously enough. I know you want to have fun and stuff and make Kinzville more fun but being mayor requires great responsibility…
Here’s a way to remember: this Salley has a ‘e’ in her name. Sally Webkinz doesn’t. Another way to remember is the salley that is running for mayor has no Webkinz after the name.
Also… “Salley” is an “Alley” cat… and that’s why she spells her name that way ;)
Gosh…see, the problem is, I don’t really care for recess! I find Salley Cat has made a rather poor campaign promise. However, I am all about fun in Webkinz World, so maybe during her term as Mayor she will be able to add more fun stuff…although, after Cowabelle fulfilled her campaign promises, she only ever updated us; she never added anything else to Kinzville. On that note, Salley Cat isn’t doing enough for me. Amanda Panda is doing virtually nothing, Dex has the promise of Adventure Packs, but I am not sure if I would make enough time to do them. Dr. Quack, although even he falls short of what I’d like, seems the best to me. His superfood thing seems like it could save me time. So, I guess I’ve come to this: #Dr.QuackIsBack
