On at least four different days I have completed the ‘Peek-a-News’ only for an only to be taken to a page saying this event is no longer available. This has happened with other months as well.
Sally Webkinz, Steve Webkinz or any other Webkinz staff member: The Treasure Hunt is not working. The first question is, ‘what can you win by finding the Puggle Puppy?’ No matter where you pull up the Peek-A-Newz prizes for September, the window stating ‘You’ve solved this clue.’ does not show up on the screen. Therefore you can not go any further in the Treasure Hunt. I did clear my cache and my history and I also shut down and re-started my system to no avail.
Good catch. Webkinz Newz was just updated to https, so the Treasure Hunt needed to be updated. You may need to delete your cookies to re-start the Treasure Hunt with the updated URLs.
I’ve tried the Treasure Hunt in two browsers, starting with different clues, and the treasure map isn’t showing up even though I’m on the right Newz article for the clue. This page used to trigger the map, and now it doesn’t, neither did the other article for the other clue.
Please delete your cookies and start the Treasure Hunt again. The switch to https broke the Treasure Hunt.
