they don’t retire the plush pets, just the code does not work. you can go to amazon and still buy a cheeky cat. I don’t know why they say its never going to be made again. anyway, hoped this helped!! ;)
Will someone please tell me why so many pets are retiring? One a week seems like way to many. :( Lots of my pets are retired now… I feel like too many virtuals are being created and too many plushes are being retired. I do too well kinda u see long story When I first got this webkinz I used my brother’s account because my parents didn’t think I was ready for my own account but now I have my own but this pet is on my brothers acount so sad :(
just saying, when pets are retired you can still get the plush. go on amazon, you can still buy a cheeky cat. its just that the code doesn’t work. I found that out the hard way with my already retired webkinz snake.

Actually, a retired pet’s code will always work in Webkinz World, except if the code’s already been used. You can always play with retired Webkinz on Webkinz.com.
my favorite pet is my ice dragon, and she is retired. I counted the sailboats, but thought that you had to type in the number after the timer went out, so I got no sailor clothes. my other pets on webkinz are-a mutt, a stormy dragon, a canary, a lionfish, a plumfadoodle, a blufadoodle, and a nightmare that im going to get in three days. ;)
