Yes, I remembered you dentist’s chair because it was so good. Hopefully you can get the credit that you deserve. They might say that theirs is slightly different and they may have been inspired by your drawing and then forgot where they got the inspiration, but your design is awesome and should definitely receive the credit it deserves!
Thank you! It just bugs me that it was so recent and they literally created one that’s the same exact color with the same things on it as my drawing. Seems like they can’t make their own ideas up yet they think nothing of taking someone else’s without giving credit. Makes me sad that they did this. A little too coincidental if you ask me. And the fact that they never responded here makes me realize that I’m right.
The prizes for all of 2020′s Deluxe Monthly Challenges were already decided upon in 2019. It is a coincidence.
Hi I know this is an irrelevant comment but I could really use some help from the Ganz team. I stumbled across a contest page from 2016 for the Salt and Pepper Dalmatian and apparently I won a virtual one but never got it lol. It may have been deleted.. Back then I shared my mom’s email which is still the one associated with my Ganzworld account. I checked through her emails from Ganz and Webkinz back in 2016 today, but I couldn’t find it unfortunately. Just for curiosity is there anyway the code can be retrieved? If not thank you for the help anyways! :)
We are required to delete emails after a reasonable amount of time, so that code is no longer available.

Hi @AmericanCivilWar1861. I am sorry for your disappointing news. Stuff gets lost in our family email all the time. I will have to look into how to switch the email associated with my WW account to a gmail. I was the person who won the salt and pepper dalmatian plushie from the naming contest. When I saw him I decided that he should be a boy, but I still used the name that I chose for the contest, Smudge. This was probably soon before Ganz stopped sending physical plushies to winners, and back when plushies still existed. I had only been collecting the plushies for a few years when they decided to stop production. There are so many more that I wanted to get over time, and my collection stands incomplete. I hope that future generations of new players will someday know the joy of the way things used to be. “Webkinz Pets are lovable plush pets that each come with a unique Adoption Code that lets play with a virtual version of your pet.” (from the Homepage FAQ section) I agree with everything Mandy Webster had to say in her article, “The Benefits of Plush Toys” which can be found in the Ganz Parent Club section. Sadly, I guess that Ganz decided in just three years time that they wished to take the game in a different direction. At this time in history, we could all really use a plush toy to help: “Provide Comfort, Build Confidence, Manage Emotions, Practice Social Skills, and Practice Language skills”. I believe in these benefits now more than ever. I pray that Ganz will reconsider.
@AmericanCivilWar1861, did you ever get the opportunity to use the name that you had selected for the naming contest, perhaps on another dalmatian? I like Pongo too, and may use that if I ever adopt another one.

Totally off-topic. Does anybody know what’s going on in Coral Cove of Vacation Island? When I went in to get the free food on the buffet, it said “Next Raffle in 2:56″. So I stayed for the 3 minutes it took for the timer to count down and then it said there was no winner and the banner disappeared. I was just wondering if anyone knew when it got updated and what that update is supposed to be. Thanks!

Yes, I’ve had this happen to me, too. Apparently, there is sometimes “no winner” in the Raffle. I’ve actually won it once. Since I’ve been lucky enough to win the Raffle, I usually don’t stay after I’ve ate some of the free food. I don’t know “when” the Raffle will appear in the Coral Cove. I usually just happen to get there when it’s already going on. I would imagine that it’s appearance is random. Hope that info helps! :-)

Be friends with the Host characters & invite them to play, they’re usually a lot easier to beat.
1Emerald1, thank you! You are right about the Host characters, it’s just that I’m not a fan of competitive games. (Although I do like to play some board games in the non-Webkinz World.) Sometimes you can’t get a Host character to appear, or if you do, you still can lose the game. Of course, I will play the Tournament games for the challenges. I just don’t enjoy playing them. But….thank you so much for your encouragement. That really means a lot to me. Take care and have fun with this challenge. :-)

I love playing against the hosts! However, if it comes to checkers for a challenge, DON’T play against Arte, not unless you are very good a want a challenge of a challenge!
