I don’t know what a merry morning pet would be. It doesn’t look like a rooster, so maybe a rabbit?

Look at the fur it looks just like an alpaca fur or llama
Look at its nose in the eye picture.
Or maybe a bunny. Look in the eye pic, it has the eye and down below it is its nose. The ears and the nose look quite like a bunny or an alpaca.
