I am thinking that with all of the chasing coins and Ms Birdy and all of the other great activities, throwing the Candy Cane collection in there might be a bit overwhelming? I think most of us will probably be focusing on getting that Exclusive Pup.
I totally agree. I’m thinking that is why they didn’t offer it this year and focused on the new event. I’m thinking that a free new pet will more than make up for not having a candy cane collection!
I’m not as excited about the medallion pup as I would be for the candy cane collection event, but I’m sure it’s extremely exciting for people who do not have many pets. I have 200 Webkinz pets so I love free furniture more than free pets.
I have a couple of accounts with about that many pets, but I still think the puppy is adorable and really hope to manage to get one everywhere. Hopefully my ice and snow accounts for sure. But piling on here, add one more to “oh hai, where is our candy cane collection event?!” club. I mean, that’s tradition; don’t mess with our traditions!!!”
why is the CHOSE A GIFT FROM SANTA the same as CHRISTMAS GIFT BOX?
@Ellen1970 they are not the same both are being displayed in the same picture for everyone to see. When you go to visit Santakinz in clubhouse you will have a choice of picking one of the three items (Striped Scooter, Unicorn Headdress or the Snowman Plushy) which ever one you select will be place in your Christmas Gift Box on Christmas day when you log into your account. The Christmas Gift box is also being displayed to show all the players what the 2018 Christmas Gift Box will look like. Hope this helps.
THANKS seems WW was showing 2 different events but you only get one gift.
Because the gift you choose from Santakinz will be inside your Christmas Gift Box along with some other presents. It says so in the article.

Christmas in Webkinz World is looking awesome, this year! :D (Even without the candy cane collection, though I wonder why they decided not to have it?) My excitement for Christmas in general just got boosted higher by reading this article ;) Hmm, it’s hard for me to pick a favorite holiday event, but I do love the countdown to Christmas with Ms. Birdy, and that Snowy Retriever medallion event is pretty great, too. I can’t wait for all of these events, though! :D

My favorite Webkinz holiday event was the candy cane collection event. It is sad it’s not happening this year. Still I’m sure there will be other ways to win cool prizes. For example, when the leprechaun in the clubhouse event was taken away, we got a Find the Ads event that awarded Gamer’s Garden prizes.

I agree. I liked the candy cane collection the most because the prizes were almost like mini-themes. For example, one year it was like a gingerbread theme and one year it was a Christmas lights theme. I think the Christmas lights furniture was called Flashy Christmas.
Me too. This makes me sad. We didn’t have the marshmallow collection event this year either. They took these events away because of the pet medallions.
