SNEAK PEEK: Dex Dangerous Arcade Challenge!

Hey there arcade enthusiasts! The Dex Dangerous Arcade Challenge returns to Webkinz Classic on Monday, September 25th, and players who complete the challenge by Sunday, October 8th, will win some cool prizes!

But don’t leave this challenge until the last minute… some tasks will take time to complete.

Here’s how to play: Starting on Monday, September 25th, look for the Dex Dangerous Arcade Challenge icon in your pet’s room. It will be displayed along the left side of the room (Webkinz Classic desktop app only):

Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, October 8th (EST) to earn all the prizes:

  1. Earn 45 KinzCash playing Dex Dangerous and the Lunar Lugbotz at the Arcade
  2. Spin the Wheel of WOW 3 times
  3. Make 15 Wishes playing Wishing Well 2 at the Games Arcade

Complete all the tasks before time runs out and you’ll win a Lunar Lugbotz Poster to put up on your pet’s wall while they have fun in their NEW Lunar Lugbotz Ride!

Those of you who are good at this game, please share tips. This game totally stresses me out! Thanks to WW, I’m scared of aliens (Dex Dangerous and the Lunar Lugbots), bees (Hungry Hog and Pinky’s Big Adventure), falling coconuts (Bananza), butterflies (Go-Go Googles!), being tickled (Flutterbugged), monsters (Jazz Monsters), Yetis (Polarberry Jam), crows (Pumpkin Patch Protector), traffic (Zacky’s Quest) and angry customers (Scrambled and Pizza Palace). LOL! Another game, another phobia!

I can’t really be scared of Zingoz or pies (Zingoz Pie Throw), but boy do those little guys get me steamed, particularly the flying ones!

I’m not very good at any arcade games, but, I’ve managed to do OK with this one at least enough to win enough points when there’s a challenge. I don’t try to move Dex’s ship all around the sky very much, but I do keep him going in circles and shooting almost constantly. I know it’s not a great strategy, but I am able to score enough points to complete the challenge without having to play too many individual games. I hope it helps you if you decide to try it. Good luck my Webkinz friend.

One thing I’d suggest is just holding down your mouse button while you shoot, so you shoot continuously.

Thanks for the advice, @BH1464, @noonesfriend, and @aw28r2! I don’t know why I’ve never thought of shooting continuously. (Maybe because I’m used to conserving ammo in paintball and Nerf?) Do we have unlimited fire power? Best of luck to each of you as well!

@kalcan8 – How in the world does Ant Mania *not* scare you? LOL! There are GIANT spiders there!! But seriously… the Dex Dangerous Arcade game can be stressful IF you are trying to earn a lot of Kinzcash in one game…but you have 14 days to earn 45 KinzCash for this challenge, so you just need to win a little over 3 KC a day. I always try hard to hit the satellites that give you power ups. Good luck!

      • kalcan8 says:

Thank you for helping me to keep it all in perspective, @wingsfan65. It’s definitely doable if I chip away at it a little at a time. Which blaster is best? As for the spiders in Ant Mania, spiders don’t scare me, irl or in game, and I can do surprisingly well on that game actually. I do get really annoyed at that honey-dropping bee though! LOL!

@kalcan8 – I know what you mean! All of the games you mentioned in your post stress me out too! :-) Which is why I seldom play those games, and if I do, I don’t ever play beyond the 2nd or 3rd levels of most of them. I do like Lunar Lugbots, as I really like Dex Dangerous. I’ve found out that if you just try and focus on clicking your mouse button, pointing at each alien/ship, while trying to move your ship around the planet, and try to finish at least the first two levels, you WILL eventually get better. I usually will play Lunar Lugbots in bouts of 10 to 15 mins, then take a break, then come back and try again. Earning 45 KC isn’t that hard to make. Practice on the game between now and Monday the 25th. You got this! I know you can win this prize! :-) May the Odds be ever in your favor! Ha! ;-)

Wow! Those are perfect descriptions of games! Very cute!

I hear you. I’m scared of Leapin’ Llama because the way the llama comes out of the frame when you lose the game reminds me of Samara coming out of the TV in The Ring.
