A new DIY Design event starts on Thursday, August 13, on Webkinz Classic, and we there’s a brand-new DIY Bed to dye!
Here’s how it will work: From August 13 – 21, Look for the floating bottle of dye on your Webkinz Classic account and click on it to collect a bottle of dye:
Your bottle of dye will be added to your Dock, under “Special Items”.
You can combine these DIY dyes with a piece of DIY furniture and a DIY Design Ticket on the Clothing Machine at the KinzStyle Outlet to make funky new furniture for your pets!
You can buy DIY furniture, DIY Design Tickets and the DIY Design Guide in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop:
There are seven pieces of furniture that you can buy at the WShop that you can dye with the DIY dye you collect during this event: The DIY Lamp, Window, Rug, Dining Chair, Wallpaper, Chair, and the brand-new DIY Bed:
And, there are seven different bottles of DIY dye that you can collect during this event: DIY Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple and Red Dye:
Once you have collected some dye and bought a piece of DIY furniture and a DIY Design Ticket from the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop, use the Things To DO menu to access the KinzStyle Outlet, then click on the Clothing Machine button to access the Clothing Machine:
Drag a DIY Design Ticket, piece of DIY furniture and a bottle of DIY dye into the Clothing Machine, then click the MAKE IT button, and your new piece of furniture will be added to your Dock!
You can use the DIY Design Guide to learn more about this event. It will be added to your Dock the first time you log in to your Webkinz Classic account from August 13 – 21.
There are also three bottles of premium DIY dye that you can purchase from the WShop for eStore points. Look for bottles of DIY Retro Dye, DIY Pastel Dye and DIY Tropical Dye in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop.
Combine a bottle of premium DIY dye with a DIY Design Ticket and piece of DIY furniture to make fancy new furniture that your pets will love:
Can’t wait to start designing? Bottles of premium DIY dye are currently available to buy from the WShop today, and will remain in the WShop once the DIY event ends on Webkinz Classic.
Free players will be able to collect 2 free bottles of dye a day, full players 3, and Deluxe players will be able to collect 4 free bottles of dye a day. But, bottles of dye are awarded randomly, so play every day during this event to collect as many bottles of DIY dye as you can!

Loving these Beds!
Great that you came out with beds!! I might make some things now! I didn’t really have any rooms that any of the dyes would have gone with as I always put a bed in the room. Especially like the red and purple. Like alucard, I would like all the solid colors, as well, as some shades of the solid colors, like a burgundy, forest green, etc. Thanks!

BEDS!!!!! Yes!!!! Thank you! I have been hoping that y’all would make more DIY furniture for us! I LOVE the Lady Bug dye (AKA: Red dye). I do NOT want you to get rid of the red/lady bug dye, but it would really be nice if we could get a solid red dye color, and maybe a dark green dye color, with no texture designs. I love ALL of the dye colors, just would love to have some solid colors, too. Could this maybe be a possibility for future updates of the DIY items? Maybe start adding things like a stove, sink, fridge, kitchen table and chairs, bath tub, bath sink, and toilet? The DIY items really help with creating new rooms! It also helps those of us who can’t spend lots of KC or ePoints for the really fancy furniture items. Just a thought for our amazing Webkinz creative team to think about! PLEASE??? :-)
Oh!!!! And a solid black dye and a solid orange dye for Halloween? Maybe a solid brown dye and yellow dye to go with the orange dye for Fall??? Oh, my! We REALLY need more solid colors! My craft designer brain is on over load! ;-) LOL!
And I want the patterns / colours ! but am not deluxe ! Wish they would be a little more generous, once in a while, with those. I do like some of your colour suggestions. : )

So torn about this because I’m obsessed with the bed options but my pets won’t be able to sleep in them because all new beds I get have been broken for over two years now!

Oh No ! That is horrible. : ( So sorry ! Do your sleeping bags work ? Poor little pets. I can feel your pain. I have some ongoing issues with my mail; and I just discovered that all my Pink Poodle Skirts have vanished, on all my accounts. Yet, here we are. Maybe you could buy one bed, and try it, sans the decoration ? Good luck
