The DIY Design event returns to Webkinz Classic with new wallpaper and a new dye!
From February 16 – 23, look for the floating bottle of dye on your Webkinz Classic account and click on it to collect DIY dye!
Combine bottles of dye, Design Tickets and DIY furniture on the Clothing Machine at the KinzStyle Outlet, to make new furniture for your pets!
You can buy DIY furniture, DIY Design Tickets and the DIY Design Guide in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop, but you’ll only be able to collect free DIY dye during this event.
If you see a floating bottle of dye appear on your screen, click on it, and a bottle of DIY dye will be added to your Dock (limited to 2 a day for free players, 3 for full and 4 for Deluxe members).
There are five free DIY dye colors to collect: purple, green, blue, pink and the brand-new black bottle of dye!
You can combine these DIY dyes with a piece of DIY furniture and a DIY Design Ticket on the Clothing Machine at the KinzStyle Outlet to make funky new furniture for your pets!
You can choose to dye the DIY Window, Armchair, Lamp, Rug or the brand-new DIY Wallpaper:

Remember, DIY furniture and Design Tickets can only be found in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop.
Use the THINGS TO DO menu to access the KinzStyle Outlet, then click on the link to the Clothing Machine.
Drag a DIY Design Ticket, piece of DIY furniture and a bottle of DIY dye into the Clothing Machine, then click the MAKE IT button, and your new piece of furniture will be added to your Dock!
Use the DIY Design Guide to learn more about this event. It will be added to your Dock the first time you log in to your Webkinz Classic account from February 16 – 23!
Can’t wait to start designing? Two bottles of premium DIY dye are available to purchase at the WShop! You’ll find the DIY Pastel Dye and the DIY Retro Dye in the Fun Stuff > DIY section of the WShop.
DIY dyes never expire, so you can use them on the Clothing Machine anytime, even after the event ends.
You’ll be able to collect bottles of DIY dye on the Webkinz Classic Mobile App, but the Clothing Machine is only available on the Webkinz Classic Desktop App.

This is going to be so much fun! I love the Wainscoting style so much! Oh, I just thought of one idea I want to try with the green wallpaper! I’ll have to give a think about the black and white one though. It’s not as formal as I would have thought, but there are a lot of fun prints with it so…..like I said, this is going to be FUN!
Thank you for the new wallpaper. I have a question, is there any way to adjust the Peek-a-Newz to allow it to be played once a day instead of needing to wait 24 hours? I find myself playing it late in the evening because of lack of time earlier in the day… then the next day I have time early and need to wait and may not have time that evening. Do you understand what I am saying? LOL Thanks
In all my years of playing Peek-a-News I have never needed to wait 24 hours from one day to the next to play again. There have been some days it has only been 14-17 hours since I last completed it. I make sure I clear my cache every time after I complete it, and do not try starting a new hunt until the next calendar day I have never had a problem.
Thank you for that information. There have been a few days that it allows me to play early, but it always tells me it is expired if I play in the evening and then play the next morning.
as long as it is past midnight in KinzTime you should be able to play it again Just like with other Daily activities in Webkinz

Hi Strawberrykinz – how are you? I have noticed that if you play after 8:00 p.m. Kinztime (7:00 p.m. my time) and try to play the next morning, it will say it is expired. Then, the earliest you can play is 7:00 pm. Kinztime the next day. My advice is to try and make sure you play before 8:00 p.m. Kinztime. I used to struggle with this, and now I just play Peek-a-Newz in the evening. Hope this helps. Your friend, slime90.

Whoa! That new wallpaper is a game changer! I am glad that I saved some DIY dye because I’m going to want to make at least one of each of those little gems right away. The new black bottle of dye looks so fun – the Ganz artists totally got their doodle on!

Defiantly going to be a lot of fun experimenting with these pieces! Lots of mix and match options as well! There are at least 2 kitchen options that will be perfect….no wait…3! that will work with this, and that’s if you want to stay with the black/white theme.
Woah I was just chatting with someone about how we’d love wshop walls with baseboards in a inch of colors and well this looks like it’s exactly that! Also love the black dye!!! So cool :D
