The Webkinz ghost returns to the Reading Room at Clubhouse on October 20!
From October 20 – 31, look for the ghost in the haunted Reading Room at the Clubhouse on the Webkinz Classic Desktop, and click on it to collect candy! If you manage to collect all twelve by midnight, October 31 (EST), you’ll win the grand prize: A Haunted Hiding Place
You can collect candy from the ghost every six hours. You can track your progress by clicking on the Jack O’Lantern icon featured at the bottom right corner of your screen. The icon will only appear while you are visiting the Clubhouse, it will not appear in your pet’s room.
Here’s a look at this year’s candy collection:
You may want to feed the candies to your pets, or display them proudly in a fridge! In any case, when you have collected all twelve candies, click on the UNLOCK button, and your Haunted Hiding Place will be added to your Dock!
Add this year’s grand prize to your pet’s room and click on it to help your pet find the perfect hiding spot!

LOVE the Haunted Hiding Place! It will go well with a lot of the Halloween themed items, especially with the Haunted Castle Theme that is Retired. :-( PLEASE, dear sweet Ganz/Team Webkinz, PLEASE bring back the Haunted Castle Theme! Put it in the WShop during the Halloween Activities, for KinzCash PLEASE, so those of us who love this theme and really NEED some of the items! It’s a wonderful theme and goes well with Halloween and Gothic Designs! :-) Thank you again for the Haunted Hiding Place! Can’t wait to get all the candy from the Reading Room Ghost! I think i liked last years grand prize the hunted cabin better. This prize is nice but it not really look like a prize you would get for the ghost. Cool idea though.
Webkinz has forums so that way people are not asking in posts like this for items they are looking or if someone wants to do a giveaways otherwise it would end up in a big mess.
Totally off topic but could you please explain how the forums work?
Forums are a place on Webkinz Newz where they list trading. Giveaways. A want list. and a lot more. You can find forms on the top of this page. When you scroll up you will see a line of words like Webkinz Newz. Webkinz Next. Estore. Fun. Contests. mobile apps. Forums and share center when you move the mouse over Forums it have giveaways listed there you can click on that. It will take you right to the page. It may take you to the last page so you will have to click the most recent one. The loading sometimes takes a bit so you will have to wait. I hope that helped.
Hi mfaull. There are forums that work. Unfortunately, the forum for trading has been dysfunctional for a very long time. It does not load. You can not post. There have been hundreds of posts about this problem. Webkinz technical support is either unable or unwilling to fix the problems. The trading forum used to be a reason to participate in the Webkinz community. It is very disappointing. If anyone from Webkinz reads this post, please respond.
