You can collect candy from the ghost every 6 hours. You may want to feed the candy to your pets, or keep them as special Halloween souvenirs! Here’s a look at this year’s collection:

Can someone please tell me how this works? I have come back to Webkinz from a very, very long pause. Do you get all 12 candies in order (I mean a different one each 6 hours), so you need only 12 visits? Or it is completely random and in some cases you need to trade to complete the collection? I appreciate all the answers, thank you!
Welcome back! You get 1 different candy per every 6 hours. You will not get a duplicate candy. So yes, just 12 visits spread out every 6 hours. Have fun!
It doesn’t go in order, but you do get a unique candy each time you click the ghost (no repeats). So you only need 12 visits to complete the collection. If you visit once every day, you’ll be able to get them all. But if you miss a day, you can still complete since you can get a candy once every 6 hours. So you could get one in the morning and one in the evening. Hope this helps and good luck collecting candy!
Hi – welcome back to Webkinz! The candy you collect from the ghost will all be different ones so that you can complete your collection in 12 visits, but the order of the candy is random. Once you complete your candy collection and receive the grand prize, you can still get more candy from the ghost every 6 hours, but you can only win the grand prize the first time – the extra candy is just a bonus. You can trade candy, but that will NOT help you complete the collection – only candy that you get counts towards the grand prize. Make sure you have your computer volume on when you visit the Haunted Reading Room – Spooky the Ghost will announce his arrival by saying “Boooo” before he appears. Have lots of fun!
You just keep visiting Spooky in the Reading Room of the Clubhouse, you can go every 6 hours if you have the time, and he’ll give you a candy, it is random but your candy collection icon in the corner will keep track so you don’t have to worry about that, you also get the piece of candy for your dock. Hi! You get a different candy to add to your collection every time you visit the ghost. Trading for candies gets you the food, but it does not get added to your collection towards the challenge prize.
Yes, you get a different candy each visit as long as they are 6 hours apart. You can trade for one you do not have, BUT it Does Not Count and the ghost will not count it toward getting all 12. They give enough time in case you can not get on more than once per day. You can not complete this challenge more than once, although once completed you can continue visiting the ghost and get more candy. Hope this helped and didn’t confuse you more. Hi Alinoboyon! The ghost gives you a random candy that’s added to your collection. Each day you get other candies that are on the list. I’m not sure if you can get another candy after 6hrs, but after you’ve collected all the candies you can claim your prize! So no, you don’t have to trade in your candies.
Hi! I usually only visit once a day, and I do get a different candy each time. I imagine you may get a different one every six hours. I know you don’t have to trade. Don’t even know if you can trade!
Last year and in other recent years, it gives you a different candy each time until you get all 12. I also think the candies only count for the total when you get them from the ghost. After you earn the prize, I think it will let you get repeat candies if you go to the ghost again. I have gotten some in the past.

It doesn’t matter what order you collect them on as long as you get al 12. You could go in once a day or 3 times (every 6 hours) and the game will give you a different candy every time you visit the Ghost. You could technically complete this in 4 days. I usually go once or maybe twice a day until I’ve collected them all.
