The Holiday Bake Sale will run from December 12 – 23, on Webkinz Classic! During the event, look for the floating gift box and click on it to earn a baked good (limited to 2 a day for free players, 3 for full and 4 for Deluxe players).
There are five baked goods to collect. Here’s a look at each one:
Combine baked goods on a stove to make holiday themed prizes for your pets! You can use the Holiday Bake Sale Cookbook to learn each recipe. The cookbook will be added to your Dock the first time you log in to your Webkinz Classic account during the event. It’s also available in the Fun Stuff > Books section of the WShop!
There are ten different prizes you can make with your baked goods. And, you will still be able to make the Holiday Bake Sale recipes once the event ends at midnight, December 23!
We have updated the cookbook with three new prizes, since the last time we held this event. Here’s a look at each prize but remember, you’ll need to use the cookbook to find out how to make them:

Can anyone tell me which three items are new???
None of the prizes are “new” – they are all from past events. The three new to the cookbook are the column, ice tile, and skates.
None of them look new to me. Maybe they added decorations to the music stand? But I feel like I have lots of all of these.

The rug was one of my favorites. Had I known, I would have made some extras so a bit of a bummer. I like the tree and I’m hoping it is the one that changes size when you rotate it! Also, it is nice to be able to make the rink panels as I have never had as many as I needed. Is that new or was I just being clueless? haha
I do NOT care for the “new” items in the Holiday Recipe Book! WHY weren’t we told that the Holiday Rug would be removed? That’s just wrong! Please put that recipe back in the book!!!!

It was a squarish white rug with green borders and holly. Very nice! I can’t believe they replaced it with skates. And they probably make the pet’s feet look big. LOL!
How do you know the rug isn’t still in the book? And how do you know you can’t still make it? I’m sure the recipe still exists.
I tried that – I googled the recipe for the rug – the recipe now makes the figure skates instead.

Why not create a Bake Sale 2 recipe book? There’s so many seasonal items from past years that most players would love to have a second chance to obtain them. Perhaps one could be done in the future and set up a stand in the park like the regular bake sale foods. It’s very disappointing we were not given notice that the beautiful Home For the Holidays Rug, Quilted Robin Tile, and Countryside Christmas Mail Box were taken out of the recipe book and can’t be made any longer.
Yes! That is a wonderful idea, BeezKneez! I didn’t realize that they had removed the Holiday Rug!!! No!!!! That was one of the nicest rugs we could get! PLEASE, Webkinz! Bring back the Holiday Rug!!!! Or, like BeeKneez suggested, make a Holiday Bake Sale 2 book for us! Bring back the recipe for the Holiday Rug and add past holiday items to it! And, make it much easier to get the Holiday Cookies we need! Come on! PLEASE!!!!! :-(

Hi lucylane556 – you are so kind to offer the Mail Box to me. However, I already do have a couple of them from when the Countryside Christmas theme came out several years ago. Have you tried placing one in the new Christmas Barn theme? It looks nice with the other items. Have a great day!
I am so disappointed to see that the Home for the Holidays Rug is no longer available to make in the Holiday Bake Sale Recipe Book. I did not have a chance to make any. It would have be really nice to give some warning that it would be removed from the recipe book before doing so and replacing it with a new item.
I thought I was going crazy yesterday when I couldn’t find the Home for the Holidays Rug recipe. Turns out it was removed and changed to something else :( I loved those rugs and only got to make a couple of them. So sad it’s not available anymore. Would 100% prefer the rug over skates or any of these items to be honest. It was the best one!

Glad the holiday bake sale is being brought back! I really wish we had a heads up though on the items being retired. I still have a lot of the baked goods from last year and would’ve made a few more rugs. Home for the Holidays is one of my favorite room themes.
