A new Trophy Challenge arrives in Webkinz World on Monday, January 22nd, but don’t leave it to last minute… You’ll only have until Friday, January 26th (midnight, Eastern Standard Time) to complete it!
Here’s how to play. On Monday, January 22nd, look for the Home Before Dark Trophy Challenge icon in your pet’s room. It will be displayed along the left side of the room:
Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight January 26th (EST) to earn the Home Before Dark Trophy:
- Earn 150 KinzCash playing Home Before Dark in the Games Arcade
- Spin the Wheel of Wow 2 times
- Buy a CampKinz Lantern from the W-Shop
Play Home Before Dark in the Games Arcade on Webkinz.com and help the pets find their way home by rotating tiles to create pathways to their houses.
Complete the Home Before Dark Challenge before January 26th (midnight, Eastern Standard Time), to win the trophy!
The Home Before Dark Trophy is interactive. Click on it in your pet’s room to watch the sun set and be replaced by the moon!

This has always been one of my very favorite games. And the trophy doesn’t look impossible to win! Yay! Good luck to everyone (and a hint: when you play, start at the right side of the game where the houses are and work “backwards” :D)

Very cool trophy! I can hardly wait to see the animation. Home Before Dark isn’t my best game and I haven’t played it for a few months so I think I’d better practice. Does anyone else besides me create the paths backwards? I always begin making the paths at the rooms on the right hand side and work my way left.
Yes, I always work backwards also. I also try to make sure that I got all of the houses possible before I make the final connection. For instance, in the screen shot above, two more house could have been included, the top house and the party house, if three more tiles had been turned. Remain calm (I have trouble with this!), have fun, and good luck!!
That’s a good hint, Beckinz8–to remain calm. I find that if I rush, I click one time too many; and then I have to click three more times to get the tile to rotate to the correct position. It’s better to take a little time and click carefully, lol. I also try to get the party house and as many items as I can.
Wow, Nice room, G Mac!! I love the whole Bumper car concept. Home Before Dark is one of my favorite games. I’m not the greatest at it, but it’s so much fun to get the lil pets home.
