This year’s Marshmallow Collection event will start on July 1, and if you manage to complete your collection by the end of the month, you’ll win the grand prize!
Here’s how to play: From July 1 – 31, look for the Marshmallow Collection icon on your Kinzville Map on the Webkinz Classic Desktop App (or along the right side of your screen on the browser version of Webkinz), and click on it to see your collection. Every day, you’ll get 1 free Marshmallow by clicking on the collection icon (Deluxe Members will get 2 a day).
Once you have received your free Marshmallow, you can get 5 more throughout the day by asking your friends (by clicking the ASK FRIENDS button) or by finding and clicking on the floating Marshmallow on WebkinzNewz.com (make sure you collect your free one first before trying to find one on Webkinz Newz).
Here’s a closer look at each prize and how many Marshmallows you’ll need to get them:
This year’s prizes have been designed by Webkinz player mooshakel! Mooshakel’s Lofi Study room theme was one of the finalists for our room theme design contest that was held back in January.
Mooshakel’s entry was also the inspiration behind this month’s Deluxe Challenge prize, the Lofi Study Bed, which was designed to match this year’s Marshmallow Collection prizes:
Congratulations mooshakel! We will be adding a Design Trophy to your account for having your Lofi Study furniture pieces created on Webkinz Classic!
Remember, the best thing about our collection events is that you can complete them more than once! So, if you play every day, you’ll have the chance to collect multiple prizes that you can use to build a Lofi Study for your pets to enjoy!

Thank you so much for making this a Collections event theme, Mooshake1′s design is definitely a lovely design for a Fun Collection theme. Are we going to see the next half of this theme for Next Year’s Marshmallow Collection event? Some of the other furnishings as well as walls and floors would be really awesome to have, too.
Purple!!!! :-) I love this design from mooshake! Love the bed! I’m hoping they will add the wallpaper and flooring, too! Will the items not in the July Marshmallow event be available in the WShop for ALL players using KinzCash? Or….will it be Deluxe only? This design is so lovely!!! Can’t wait to make a new room! As Webkinz Player, SugarP said, “…so glad that other finalist’s designs are being used (and given credit!) I agree with her, too! But…dear sweet Webkinz Creators…PLEASE don’t “RETIRE” older room themes just to add new ones! It would help if we could have a Wheel of Retired Items each month, or….a Retired section in the WShop where we could buy…..WITH KINZCASH NOT ePOINTS…the retired items many of us missed before we joined! For example: Items from the Ancient Civilization theme would be nice to see in the WShop and not “once in a blue moon” (which means “hardly ever!”), in the Curio Shop! Also, would love to get more Caring Hearts, including the hard to find items, from Ms. Birdy’s Welcome boxes instead of the HUGE amounts of food items we keep getting! I do sell all the food items, but would much rather get items I can use in rooms. Okay…sorry for the rant! I got carried away. ;-) Hope every one is having a great weekend! :-)

Yes, I meant I wished they would have added the Wallpaper and Flooring that mooshake designed. The Webkinz designer didn’t use that. I love that design and wish they had picked it for the final design. Maybe they will add it later. I love the Starry Slumber Room theme, too. I just think it would be nice to have the original designers wallpaper and flooring, too. :-)

These contests let our talented community shine, and when they release the new themes it makes it seem personal. Like we are all a part of the game itself.
