From April 1 – 30, look for Kiwi Bird Pet Medallions floating across your Webkinz Classic account and click on them to add them to your collection (limited to 4 day day, 5 for Deluxe players).
You’ll need 100 Kiwi Bird Pet Medallions to adopt this pet, so be sure to play every day for the chance to get as many medallions as you can!
To make it a little easier, you’ll get 25 Kiwi Medallions on Webkinz Day, April 29. You’ll find them in your Webkinz Day Gift Box.
Click on the MY PETS paw print button near your pet’s portrait (bottom left side of your screen) and click on the MEDALLIONS tab to view your collection. When you have collected 100 Kiwi Bird Pet Medallions, you’ll be able to adopt the Kiwi Bird.
You can also trade 10 Kiwi Bird Pet Medallions for an AnyPet Medallion. Watch Podkinz 156 to learn how!

This is nice, but I have a Kiwi pet. I know I can use the medallions to help with another medallion pet, but when it takes 10 medallions to get just ONE medallion that you can use, it takes a long time to trade for medallions. Why can’t the Kiwi and the Snowy Retriever Puppy just be part of the floating medallions and not the Medallion Event…AGAIN! Why not let some of the other medallion pets get a chance to be a part of the Medallion Event? I would love to get the Gargowl. It takes FOREVER to get these medallions! Ten other pet medallions, just to get ONE medallion for a pet that you are trying to get, is really not a “fair” trade.

I already have my Kiwi. His name is Wellington and he lives in a beach/Vacation Island room. His medallions will help me get closer to my Diamond Dragonfly.
My Kiwi is also named Wellington lol, and I’m also saving his medallions for another pet.
I like the name Wellington. My Kiwi is named Aukland and I was trying to think of another name. I hope you don’t mind if I borrow yours if I get another Kiwi.
I have 2 Kiwis. One is named Kumquat and the other is Gisborne (a city in New Zealand). I also plan to use my medallions towards another pet!

Really hoping they will switch up the pet for next year, as I only like one of each pet.
Too bad we can’t get the cream one or the blue one. I was hoping that when the codes for those plushies were given to us that we may be able to get a different color in them with the floating medallions :) It’s such a cute pet that I would love them in every color!
My grandson is SO hoping to get enough medallions this year to get his Kiwi!

I have had my account for years but started playing daily in the summer. This is my first year collecting these Kiwi medallions and I am so excited! I have wanted a Kiwi bird for a long time!!
I’m happy for you! They are really cute in WW, although dressing them can be a challenge (it’s the way that the clothes lay without any wings). I hope that you reach the goal and get to add one to your WW family!

I have adopted a Kiwi on a couple of my accounts. Yes, I’m also glad they don’t fly. I was very disappointed when I bought an Ostrich and she did fly! :-(
