From April 1 – 30, collect floating Kiwi Bird Pet Medallions on Webkinz Classic (limited to 4 a day, 5 for Deluxe players).
You’ll need 100 Kiwi Bird Pet Medallions to adopt this pet for free, so be sure to play every day for the chance to collect as many medallions as you can!
To make it a little easier, you’ll get 25 Kiwi Pet Medallions on Webkinz Day, April 29. You’ll find them in your Webkinz Day Gift Box.
Click on the MY PETS paw print button near your pet’s portrait (bottom left side of your screen) and click on the MEDALLIONS tab to view your collection. When you have collected 100 Kiwi Bird Pet Medallions, you’ll be able to adopt the Kiwi Bird.

I would like to see a floaty-clicky event or month for Any Pet Medallions or just randome Pet Medallions, excluding the kiwi and the snowy retriever. Maybe, that might become a new event.

The really FRUSTRATING part is that you will spend all that time for about 100 clicks and only get 10 diamond dragonfly medallions

It will take 10 YEARS to get the rare diamond dragonfly medallion by converting Kiwi and Snowy Retriever medallions to AnyPet medallions! This is why people are complaining. A great solution would be to have an AnyPet medallion floating event twice a year. Let us choose which pet.
It would take 10 years if you ONLY used Kiwi Bird Pet Medallions to convert to Dragonfly Medallions once a year. You can purchase an Any Pet Medallion Giftbox from the SPREE Mall each time you complete the board, which (like the name suggests) awards 10 random pet medallions for any pet– INCLUDING the Diamond Dragonfly.

Sorry, yes– the “Pet Medallion 5 Pack” is available for 500 Mall Credits. If you focus on collecting Mall Credits while you play SPREE each day, you should be able to buy a few boxes each time you reach the mall. You can then funnel all of your other collected medallions to work towards a single pet, like the Diamond Dragonfly.
i only get around 500 mall credits each game :(
Besides the Spree, you can also transfer the other pet medallions to another pet once they reach 10. You don’t have to wait till the kiwi and retriever floaty clicks.

That is a great idea Alucard!! I would love to see some new medallion pet events out there! Really a lot of options for them to choose from such as the Stone Lion, Panda, Diamond Dragonfly, Rainbow Googles, etc. etc. Whether each pet is able to have their own chance at a Medallion event or if A medallion event would give a chance at obtaining any of the Medallion pets would be a better option to many players than the constant repeat of kiwi medallion events. :3
I agree, I think it is time that we get a different pet for a medallion event. Any other pet is a great change. But the constant Kiwi and Snowy Retriever events are disappointing repeats.

When you trade ten pet medallions for one any pet medallion you lose 90% of their value and you have only one medallion instead of ten to use toward the pet you want. Since new players don’t have any medallions yet, they probably would be happy with a headstart towards any pet.
Thank you for mentioning this 11auntie! most people seem to not realize the value lose that comes with trading in 10 kiwi medallions for only one any pet medallion. The option as a new player to earn a New pet every medallion event seems way preferable over the repeat of kiwi events every few months for years.

yup! i remember when i was young and playing on my origonal account :). i had around 8 pets i think, still have the plushies of them, how i regret abandoning them. i think my name was Alice Pink Pony or some variation of that
Maybe for the 20th WW anniversary, you can do a medallion float that includes ALL the medallion pets ;) that way we can get some cuties free free free

yup! if you have ten or more medallions of a pet that you don’t want to get/ already have, you can go to the switch pets thing, then to medallions, then near the top right there will be a button where you can switch 10 of that pet medallions for one that you can use on any! but keep in mind, its 10 for one, but that one works for all of them, and when you want to submit the any pet medallion, there’s a button a little below the transfer 10 for 1 button, but make sure to only press those buttons on the pets you want to transfer medallions with :)
Isn’t is time the other Medallion Pets got a chance to be the star of the Medallion Event? I have enough Kiwi and Snowy Retriever pets for now. I would love to see some of the hard to earn Medallion Pets during the Medallion Event, like the Diamond Dragonfly, the Rainbow Googles, or the Stone Lion, among others. Or, how about some of the other pets with fewer Medallions to collect like the Tree Frog, Panda, and Whimsy Dragon. I know we can use our Kiwi Medallions to help us with getting other pets, but 10 Medallions from one pet, and you get just ONE Medallion for the pet that needs that Medallion, well…it takes a long time to get that one pet you really want. I just think allowing each Medallion Pet to have a special collecting event, would be really nice for all Webkinz Players. :-)
To do that, they would have to put the kiwi and snowy retriever medallions into the prize pool with the rest of the pet medallions. So far, these events are literally the only way to get kiwi or snowy retriever medallions.
Though it would be really cool if there were other medallion events, not just those too.

I agree! my sister who had been playing who sadly stopped playing had sooo many of each. i started a new account in november and am probably only going to get two of each, one boy one girl. i am glad that you can transfer ten tokens into 1 of any. though i am quite sad that i got rid of my old account, i grew up on webkinz songs, and i had got a pink plush puppy for christmas, she only got played with once, it was the last day i had played on my old account :,(
I agree. I would like to see other pet medallions, too. And, I, also, think that trading 10 madallions for just 1 is unfair, since it takes soooo many to more medallions to get some of the pets. Maybe, having a month of floaty-clickies of just random medallions would be something to add in the future. Medallion Month might be something you could start this year, perhaps, as we enter the 20th year of Webkinz.

Repeating the events is nice for those of us who don’t have much time to play. Not to mention that the extra ones from these events are a great way to add extra medallions to the other medallion pets that we want. I’ve gotten the last ones that I’ve needed to finish off other collections.

7 is A LOT, lol. These ideas are so cute! I actually really like the idea of naming them after flowers since the Kiwi event runs during spring.
you could name them after fruits because they are kiwi birds :P
