Awesome prizes this month, I love peek-a-newz!

Speaking of prizes, I just won something from a Spree Shopping Bag that I’ve never seen in Spree before, a red Stadium Seat. Weren’t those from the Cars promotion last year? Awesome, in any case! And this is the first time I can remember getting something “new” (diffferent from the regular prize pool) from a shopping bag in all these 12 years. Thanks, ganz!

March is my favorite month; so to me–Ganz could give out dirt as a prize and I’d be happy. (Come to think of it…..a pile of dirt wouldn’t be such a bad prize idea: it could be a great item for creating a fresh spring garden!)

    • 1Emerald1 says:

Why not? We have gophers now, so…and the Piles of Snow turned out to be incredibly useful in room designs.

      • animalsmatter1 says:

Hi 1Emerald1, Exactly! With a little thought, so many items we might just dismiss as not really desirable or useful, turn out creating the most unique rooms. (oh my gosh–are those gophers cute, or what?!!) And our pets can actually sit on the piles of snow–(believe it or not, I hadn’t discovered that until about a month ago. lol)

@animalsmatter1, I don’t remember right off hand what they are called, but those dirt strips we got around Halloween might look good in your garden. >{^;^}< heart059

      • animalsmatter1 says:

Hi puppies4me! Great suggestion! The item you’re mentioning is the Farmer’s Field Floor Tile, and you’re right: it would look great in a fresh spring garden.

    • TropicalGirl says:

Well, we do have the mud puddles from last year’s(?) Spring Celebration, but I’d be up for some dirt piles since I love gardening. Why is March your favorite month, animalsmatter1?

      • animalsmatter1 says:

Hi TropicalGirl! March is my favorite month because Spring starts in March. (Yay!) I don’t like winter at all. March can be an ‘iffy’ month where I live–sometimes it actually snows–but at least it doesn’t last; the ground starts warming up, the days are lighter longer, and I can actually start spend time outdoors without freezing! I do love those mud puddles from last year; that’s a very neat outdoor item. I have a few in my ranch room –it’s too cute when those pets jump up and down in them. lol

I’m with you, animalsmatter1! As you can tell by my UN, I love the warm weather, and winter is rough for me. You’d laugh if you could see how many of my Webkinz rooms are devoted to spring, summer and the beach, lol!

          • animalsmatter1 says:

lAw! I would definitely not laugh! That’s one of the reasons I love WW–we can create a little ‘utopia’ for ourselves—even if it’s only for a short amount of time a day–we can adopt pets we will (most likely) never be able to adopt in real life, (Rhino, anyone? lol), design rooms we could never afford in real life (seriously: my pets have four swimming pools! lol), and own furniture we could never even find in real life! (Love that Curio Shop!) And P.S.: Winter is rough for me, too. I totally get it.

          • 1Emerald1 says:

LOL, you guys might not like the warm weather as much if you lived where I do! We’re FINALLY having a touch of winter here (Meaning it actually got down into the 30′s (fahrenheit) last night, which happens once or twice a “winter” here if we’re lucky…then it’s straight back to the drought!) The heat makes me sick all 8 months of summer here every year, I’d love to live in Canada…

Thank you Ganz for the items you make available for us. I got one of the Wacky fridges yesterday. It will go with the two I got last year. I also enjoy getting more pieces to use in other rooms(after I set up my green room last year, I had to do another one, but placed other items with it). Thank you for giving me the chance to be creative.

They say they use the same prizes so those that don’t have them can get them. I do like the new floor tile, but shouldn’t it be a green gem for March to go with the other items? I think they are putting all their money and effort into converting us into an app instead of a web based game, as they said in one of their articles.

Are we looking for the Blue Bay Dolphin or the African Chimpanzee in March?

  7. lfrank says:

I love the new Mosaic tiles , thank you Webkinz. Sure would love to see some new St. Patrick’s Items such as dining placemats , shamrock clock, Wall decorations with Irish theme on them, maybe a shamrock harp , maybe a Irish flower arrangement or bouquet. Hanging lucky horse shoe . Just some ideas .

  8. libertynews says:

    Wow… I love those tiles ♥♥♥

  9. a5t says:

While I’m grateful for any free prizes like these, I am noticing a slow tapering of the quantity in variety of prizes in the monthly prize pools. I’m really missing more prizes being available. Will we see a return to the large pool of prizes in the future? Is this decrease a temporary thing because of all the other prizes the community is getting right now?

    • gmatiny says:

Only a few weeks so less prizes means we have a better chance to get gem tiles. I am sure if there are less rewards next month it is for a reason but I still like fewer so we have a better chance .

      • 1Emerald1 says:

I agree with you, I’m really hoping for the “mosaic” gem tiles, I’ve got a room that they’d add a perfect touch to. Less prize items overall actually increases the odds of winning the ones you want. Best of luck, everybody!

I was hopeing to get a couple of the diamond gem tiles on the WHEEL of Wishes but none. So my chances here are nill .

    • gmatiny says:

But thanks for the chance .

    • dixiecup says:

The tiles weren’t diamonds, they were Aquamarine. They are the birthstone for March. Kind of a preview, I guess. So, they will probably be on the next Wheel of Wishes, too.

    • TropicalGirl says:

They are really pretty, and don’t give up hope. I wasn’t all that excited about the Amethyst tiles until I put them in a room and they SPARKLE!!

      • 1Emerald1 says:

Thank you so much, TropicalGirl, for sending me the gem tiles!!! You are AWESOME!!! Not that this is a surprise, you’re one of the kindest, most generous people I know! Your thoughtful gift just enhanced one of the rooms I’m using right now in the video I’m working on, so when you see Chapter 3 of The Quest for the Freaky Forest (almost done!), you’ll know you contributed to the success of the decor!

        • TropicalGirl says:

Oh my gosh, 1Emerald1, that just makes my day, thanks so much! You are so talented in room design I knew you would find a good use for them. I loved the first chapters of The Quest for the Freaky Forest so I’m eager to see the latest one. I usually watch at least twice, once to follow the story and then I go back just to appreciate all the details you put in the rooms. Good luck with getting it done! :)
