Webkinz Newz Week runs from November 21 – 27 in Webkinz World. There are two parts to Newz Week. You’ll be able to visit the Clubhouse to collect prizes and there will also be a special Newz Week Challenge to complete.
On November 21, head to the Clubhouse and look for the Webkinz Newz Room. You’ll notice that Ella McWoof is busy at work, covering all the hustle and bustle of the Kinzville mayoral election.
If you click on Ella, she’ll give you a special Webkinz Votes 2020 commemorative coin. There are four coins to collect, each featuring one of the mayoral candidates. You’ll only be able to collect one a day, so make sure you visit Ella McWoof every day during Newz Week for the best chance to collect all four coins!
You’ll also be able to watch a short video about this year’s election by clicking on the Podkinz booth, featured in the top corner of the Newz Room. The first time you watch the video each day, you’ll be awarded a special Webkinz Votes 2020 banner that you can display in your pet’s room.
Once you’ve finished collecting your prizes in the Newz Room, you can start your special assignment covering the mayoral election for the Kinzville Times! Look for the Webkinz Newz Week Challenge icon on the left side of your screen, and click on it to review your tasks.
There are 3 tasks that you’ll need to complete, in order to finish your assignment:
- Interview some players at the Arcade… earn 160 KinzCash playing Tile Towers
- Find out who’s voting for who at the Tournament Arena. Win 4 games of Dogbeard’s Bathtub Battles.
- Head to Webkinz Newz to finish your assignment… Feed your pet 4 cans of Fizzy Newz Soda

I have been trying to click on the podkinz for two days now and I haven’t received the banner.
Groan at tournament games to win. Can’t you please just keep them on regular games to play. Thanks.
Just wish didn’t have the tournament games in the challenges that we HAVE to win. Sometimes gets very stressful and not fun when just can’t win. But I love the challenges.
I agree. No fun and stressful and discouraging when can’t win tournament game and have to keep trying and trying and trying.
If you choose to play against some of the Webkinz characters (Sophie, Dr. Quack, etc.) you have a better chance at winning than against another player… in my experience. Good luck friends!
That is a helpful tip, LittleMama1983. I find I can beat Dr. Quack more than half the time. I wish we could play Super Model and Chef Challenge against the host, too. They show up in challenges a lot, and I have trouble finding an opponent.
I was just going to say that, but you got to it ahead of me, LittleMama. Good going. I can vouch for this, it is d e f i n i t e l y easier to win against the CPUs.
