Special Announcement from Dr. Quack!

Hoo-hoo Kinzville! It’s me, your mayor—Dr. Quincy Quack! As many of you might remember, I ran during my election campaign under the slogan, “The Cure for a Better Kinzville”, and I promised that I had some special recipes to share with you.

Well, today I am pleased to present to you “Dr. Quack’s Miracle Tonic™”! This marvelous miracle tonic is my own special creation, a product from my many years of research and medical experience as the town doctor here in Kinzville.

While this tonic isn’t particularly special on its own, when used in combination with the farm fresh food grown in your yard, it creates 1 of 3 NEW super foods that will have a miraculous effect on your pets! Each one of these super smoothies will instantly restore your pet’s Happiness, Hunger, and Energy!

Just take this tonic, together with your harvested farm fresh foods, and combine them in a blender using one of these recipes:

Now while I am sure everyone would just love to load up on my marvelous miracle tonic, I should mention that it is a very unique secret concoction, and extremely difficult to manufacture in large quantities. So while you won’t be able to simply buy my tonic in stores like the WShop, I have made enough for the moment to give out to all of my fellow citizens of Kinzville during this special time!

You can get some of my miracle tonic in 1 of 2 ways: either by just logging in this Saturday, March 11th, or by doing the “Cure for a Better Kinzville” challenge, available NOW! You’ll even win a Dr. Quack’s Old-Timey Ice Box that you can store your smoothies in afterwards!

Please note: to make sure everyone gets their fair share, neither my tonic, nor the smoothies can be traded or sent through KinzPost to other players. Keep watching here on Webkinz Newz for more announcements about when I will have a new batch of tonic to give out!

I hope you and your pets enjoy collecting my tonic and making these super smoothies! They really are quite quackin’ delicious!

Take care, Kinzville!

Hi I just logged on to finish up part 4/4 on Dr. Quack’s’ challenge but is has disappeared from ALL my rooms, I cant’ even find the button to push to bring challenges in and out of view. (Though I’ve never used it before as I just leave it set to out since I’ve completed all of them and only work on the one they give us.) Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi, Thanks I figured out what happened. So it’s all good now. I’m looking forward to Saturday to get the one Dr. Quack tonic I need. And then for other challenges like this one to come along in future! Let me ask you then does that button that can hide/or bring out challenges just disappear when you have no challenges being all caught up with them? Thanks

BUT what about those who had pet eat the tonic or it didn’t give smooth wrong blender type will they lose out totally or will Dr give 2 or 3 tonics this weekend ?

That’s good to hear. I must say that I was very concerned that we had to have a special ingredient for the new items that Dr. Quack was talking about. It did make me giggle to find out that it was a tonic though! Visions of traveling salesmen selling tonics for everything!

It looks like a lot of players are having trouble with this. I was lucky & everything worked the way it was supposed to during the challenge, & I got all 3 recipes right. Always read the directions twice, guys! The old fashioned ice box is so cool! And the smoothies really do fill your pets all the way up. Even my Dutch Bunny, Holland, the World’s Grumpiest Pet, is still satisfied (and I NEVER thought I’d see that happen!) Thanks, Dr/Mayor Quack!

Hi Sally, any tips on the gardening. I am trying to grow the food needed to make the smoothies and it just says “this crop is not ready to harvest”. I am not able to water or tend my crops, thanks.

    • Sally Webkinz says:

You no longer tend to crops. You’ll just have to wait until the crops are ready to harvest :)

      • candygirl414 says:

You are taking all the fun out of Webkinz by deleting all the teaching tools!

        • Sally Webkinz says:

Unfortunately, the gardening activity did not work under Webkinz X. It was either convert it to this or they’d be decorative items.

          • megamom12 says:

Actually seeing as I’m so busy, not having to tend to the crops is a nice thing. It was so disheartening to have missed a day or two and come back to wilted crops that needed to be dug up a started again. I would hate to have missed out on gardening all together, so I’m very glad that you were able to come up with a plan to work around the issue. Thank you again so very much!

          • popprock says:

I agree with megamom. I was disappointed at first, but then I was happy that the crops wouldn’t wilt and die if you forgot to water them or if you went out of town for a couple of days. I do miss getting several from one plant at a time though. Like from the tomato’s and strawberries. I wish that there was some way to get those back. I’m just glad that we can still have the gardens. :)

Thanks Sally, I guess I missed that memo!
