Special Report – With Steve Webkinz!

Hi everyone, Steve Webkinz here. In today’s special report, I’m once again going to take a look at growing gardens in your yard, but this time I’m going to focus on the seeds found at the Ganz eStore. If you missed my earlier special report on growing gardens with WShop seeds, you can find it right here.

Just like the seeds that can be purchased for KinzCash, you can find eStore seed packets in the WShop under the Fun Stuff category.

You can find a variety of different food items that can be grown, including all the different berries from Jumbleberry Fields, which can be used to fill up your jam jars, or can be fed to your pet to win a prize.

Here’s a look at all of the different eStore seed packets, their harvest times, and the resell value of the harvested food:

DID YOU KNOW? We’ve recently updated gardening so that when you click on a plant, the harvested food automatically drops into your Dock without any message appearing, so harvesting a whole room of plants is a lot faster! This same feature will soon be added to another class of harvestable item—stay tuned!

You don’t have to be Deluxe in order to buy eStore Points, but Deluxe Members get FREE eStore Points added to their account EVERY MONTH! You can learn more about Deluxe Membership here.

What do YOU think of our growing garden functionality update? And what would you like me to report on next? Let me know in the comments below!

Not sure if this would be the right thread – but for the resale of harvested items, is there an easier way?? I literally have THOUSANDS of watermelons, pumpkins, corn, apples, you name it, because the “one at a time” placement into the sale shop bores me crazy. Can we PLEASE have a “Farmer’s Market”, or something, where we can approach a counter, decide which items we want to sell. Then, after the buyer confirms there is (2451) pumpkins, asks me how many I would like to sell. This can then be a predetermined amount by the buyer (maybe in increments of ten?) or the numbers can be punched in by the seller. A cash register ticket pops up, “150 pumpkins for $10 each equals $1150 dollars”, incorporating math into the transaction. What do you guys think? I’ve got lots of produce just piling up, and slowing everything down. Thanks for reading! =D

I know this doesn’t belong here, but I wanted to thank Webkinz for the new (on sale) Car Garage!! It is wonderful to have a place to store vehicles (12 per garage). I know some will complain that you have to use Ganz money to get the item, but it is well worth it…the garage is so kewl!!

got plenty of gardens..why can’t you speed up the selling back of fruits and veggies. Is it because the program has to add things up?

Gardening is so fun. I love to help garden irl too. I saw a video the other day where a dog went right up to a tomato plant and plucked off a tomato and ate it up. It reminded me of my webkinz pets lol :) We have quite a few of the estore plants, giant bean, lollipop, snow cone, collie dog bone, jack o lantern, orange, peach, apples and the new nut trees, they are all so amazing, I love them and of course want more in the future.

Some of my fondest memories are of helping my grandpa in the garden. Sun warmed watermelon right off of the vine, fresh turnips for mashed turnip for diner, a mess of fresh green beans and bacon (still one of my all time favorites!), vine ripened tomatoes with cottage cheese…..and so much more. Now my son grows our basil and parsley! He is going to add oregano to his herb garden next year.

Hi Steve I would like to thank you for all the improvements in gardening over the years like no watering and the latest, single click gardening. So with all these grate improvements I now have a bundle of vegetables in my dock, takes for ever to get them sold. I would like to suggest cash register ware we can drag one vegetable up and type in the amount we would like sell i.e. 100 at a time. With all these wonderful seeds to plant, my dock is going to fill up fast. Regards rickyfox

Wow! I just found your post after I posted mine! LOL So happy to see someone has the same thoughts I do about selling vegetables.

    • Beckinz8 says:

Yes, you guys are totally not alone with these suggestions! I feel like we’ve been asking for the capability to easily sell multiples for so long. That would take gardening to a whole different level. Imagine how many WW multi-millionaires there would be if being a WW farmer was truly that easy! First the harvesting update, and now if they can follow it up with a market/register where we can input quantities for sale, the sky is the limit! People will be buying seeds and new outdoor rooms left and right trying to expand their farms. Could that collapse the economy in WW? @_@

  7. KSC says:

Hi Steve! Thanks for another great report! It’s helpful to see the growing time for each type of seed.

Hmm. . . I just increased my screen size – I think that’s a leprechaun seed not a kinzcoin seed :) Kinda funny – those sneaky leprechauns. I don’t think you get 200 for the chocolate kinzcoin seeds but they are fun to eat!

I do like the new harvest method, and I hope they mean dispensers will do it soon, too. I like the look of the wacky gumdrop plant. I wish they made more cactus plants so you could make a proper desert or xeriscape. (I haven’t looked in the estore.)

I have all but 3 of these e-store seeds, (planted). I’m missing the Blue Corn, the Chocolate Kinzcash Coin & the Spaghetti Vine seeds. I’ve seen the Blue Corn seeds, but have never come across the other two. I’ll have to check if they’re currently available. I also have all the seeds that can be chosen from the Pet of The Month prizes and all of the different apple seeds that Webkinz gave us as prizes. It takes me quite a while to harvest all my gardens and get my dailies from my dispensers. Thanks for making the harvest easier with less clicks.
