Steve Webkinz here! As a sort of continuation of my previous Special Report about the Webkinz mobile app, here’s a look at what’s been updated and added to our list of Webkinz arcade games!
As part of our efforts to move more of Webkinz onto a new code base and have it run on mobile devices, Ganz has been working with a 3rd party company to help update many of our classic arcade games, while also adding some fun new ones!
When the Webkinz mobile app launched in 2013, there were very few games in its arcade. We only had Crafty Canaries, Goober’s Atomic Adventure, Hoppy Little Rocketship, and a mobile version of the Wheel of Wow for people to play.
Since then, we’ve updated and added a few classics to the mobile arcade, which were then also updated on Webkinz.com, including: Atlantiles, Cash Cow, and Polar Plunge!
We’ve also added a whole bunch of NEW games that are quickly becoming just as popular, including: Dogbeard’s Gold, Hatch the Dragon, Jumbleberry Blast, Ms. Cowoline’s Rollcall, and Pet Party Parade!
The good news is that we have several more games in the production pipeline, including more updates to current classics, along with more NEW games that are going to be tons of fun!
Our next game is another new one, arriving on February 14th! Here’s a sneak peek at what it looks like:

Why would we lose them?
They announced recently that everything within the browser based version of webkinz world needs to be converted into a new format. One that will work on the mobile app and the soon to be released desktop app. There is so much content still and so many arcade games that are not yet in this format. They only have 2 years to get everything converted, before adobe flash stops being supported by browsers. It seems to be a slow process and not enough time to get everything done.
Thanks for another excellent report, Steve! I’m excited for more games to come to the mobile app, and my absolute favorite is Eager Beaver. I love that game so much!! It would be awesome if you could put it on the mobile app. In the meantime, I’m looking forward to seeing the new one on Feb. 14th. Thank yo!
Cool! I can’t wait to find out more about the new game…it looks really fun! :D I really wish that the classics didn’t have to be updated, though…there’s so much nostalgia in all those old games, and I would hate to see all that go away, like so many things already have. :/

Another great Special Report, Steve; thanks for the update. The new game looks fun; can’t wait to try it. I’m a big fan of Jumbleberry Blast, Pet Party Parade, Tile Towers, Booger Gets an A, Cash Cow 2, Crafty Canaries, and Smoothie Moves, but my number favorite game of all in WW is definitely Quizzy’s Word Challenge. I’m addicted!
Jumbleberry Fields! (How could I forget that?!) That’s my favorite of all the daily games and activities.
I don’t care where you put Hatch a dragon I can’t hatch a dragon to save my life!!! lol Of course I am not quitting! I will get it one day!
I know what you mean. Sally Webkinz did a video on how to play that game; and I finally hatched the dragon and won the trophy! The trick is to keep building your highest value squares in one corner. Try to use only two directions; three if you have to. And keep the lowest value squares next to open spaces…It’s hard to explain, but maybe I can look for the link to the video.
Jezzbo75 As I was reading through the replies and thinking about what I wanted to tell Steve, I thought the EXACT same thing about Hatch the Dragon! :-D ImaPepper, that would be awesome to see that video. I actually have the glorious trophy, but ONLY because my granddaughter got it trading and gave it to me!

Atlantiles is a fun game! Once I got used to playing it I like it better than the old version! Polar Plunge? That is a bit tricker moving the ipad around instead of the mouse! lol The games still work better on a dektop where I live. Hoping the new changes work out!! I love webkinz!
