Hi everyone, Steve Webkinz here. As mentioned in an earlier Webkinz Close Up story, we’ve recently added some new functionality to Webkinz windows!
Since the beginning, one of the limitations in room decorating was using the same window more than once in the same room. Since it was just one piece of art, the view outside the window would never change. So if you wanted to add more windows to the room, you’d end up with the same view outside each time.
But now we’ve added a new ability to non-animated windows so that they can show a different view, based on where they are placed on the wall!
Since there are already far too many windows in Webkinz World to go back and update, this functionality will only be added to our new non-animated windows that show a view outside.

Can we please get the ability to move and/or hide doors? They really limit what you can do with a room since there are so many specialty wallpapers now that do not look right with a normal door in the middle. I would buy so many more estore wallpapers if I could get rid of doors. Right now I have more wallpaper than places to put them. It would also be nice if we had special doors that could be placed in front of the real ones as a replacement to fit the theme of the room better

I gave up on caring where a door lands on most papers …. i just strategically place an item there to hide it. I am still picky on a few of them though.
I really love this new aspect of the windows, but then I adore windows! Kudos to all the folks at Ganz who made this a reality!
This is awesome! I have noticed that the view is the same and wanted to change the view without changing the window all together. Thanks Ganz!
Nice. I like this feature a lot because it gives a more realistic feel to the room.
I agree with you there there is no selection of windows for us to purchase with kc cmsrockz
ok steve here’s one for ya. can we please have chairs that we could sit our plushy’s on?! this would be nice when we our designing rooms. Like in my classroom i would like to be able to show students sitting at their desks.. please take this request into consideration and as always keep up the great work you all do at Webkinz/Ganz . Thank You
I know you’re looking for chairs, but I have found that using small side tables works really well for displaying plushies! I’m sure if you put a little table behind a desk, it will look the plush is sitting at the desk. :)
The colorful candy barrel from the general store theme also works great for sitting plushies on. It has that casual seating feel to it :)
