Head to your Kinzville Map to start your collection. If you collect all 50 acorns by the end of the month, you’ll win furniture that you can use to build a library for your pets!
To access your collection, open the THINGS TO DO menu and click on the link to the Kinzville Map. Then, click on the acorn icon to open your collection.
Everyday, you’ll get 1 free acorn, just for clicking on the collection icon (Deluxe Members will get 2 free acorns a day).
You can get up to 5 more acorns throughout the day by asking your friends (by clicking the ASK FRIENDS button), or by finding and clicking on the floating acorn on WebkinzNewz.com (make sure you collect your free one first before trying to find one on Webkinz Newz).

These are the best collection prizes I’ve seen yet! I don’t know how I never noticed there hasn’t been much around to create a library before. Looks like AC Pocket Camp and Webkinz are in sync again — they’re both on a bit of a library kick for the month of September.
I love these collection events!! And I’m especially loving this set of prizes!!! But I’ve had a lot of trouble with the past few collection events not awarding my two free daily ones. I almost never collect the ones from newz (if I do it’s always after) and still don’t always get my daily ones. Is there something else I’m doing that’s causing this? I can’t figure it out :/ Also, when did it become 5 acorns/day? Wasn’t it 10? Correct me if I’m wrong, or if anyone has any insight to my problem.
You can request up to 10 acorns per day, but only receive five from your friends and WK Newz. I haven’t been receiving my free ones correctly, either; I hope it’s a soon-to-be-fixed glitch.

Glitch? I got the acorn from Webkinz Newz, but not from when I clicked on the collection event icon.
Hi @gingerdare. Always collect the acorn(s) from the collection event icon first before collecting the one floating by on WKN. They are aware of this glitch which is why they always make sure to include this instruction in each of the collection event articles. I’m sorry that you missed out on day 1, but now you will be ready the rest of the month. Good luck with your collection!
Question. Am I wrong doing WKN 1st if I’m logged in there and it goes to my “house account” ? So far I have gotten my acorns.

Wonderful! We just adopted a Chipmunk and we will use these items to fill his room! Do the bookshelves hold anything inside, or are they just decorative?
i’ve been having so many issues with the desktop app (windows version) lately – opening it gets stuck on the startup screen saying at the bottom “checking for updates…no updates found” and it never opens anywhere from there. i have to restart to be able to use my laptop again. tried uninstall and reinstall and nothing – browser version is ok but can’t press send to ask friends for acorns or do merry go round at recess and i miss that and will obviously need it once flash is no longer supported
