Collect floating Kiwi Bird Pet Medallions on Webkinz Classic (limited to 4 a day, 5 for Deluxe players). If you see one floating across your screen, click on it, and it will be added to your account!
You’ll need 100 Kiwi Bird Pet Medallions to adopt this pet for free, so be sure to play every day for the chance to collect as many medallions as you can!
To make it a little easier, you’ll get 25 Kiwi Pet Medallions on Webkinz Day, April 29. You’ll find them in your Webkinz Day Gift Box.
Click on the MY PETS paw print button near your pet’s portrait (bottom left side of your screen) and click on the MEDALLIONS tab to view your collection. When you have collected 100 Kiwi Bird Pet Medallions, you’ll be able to adopt the Kiwi Bird.

Today is April 22, 2024 and I did not see any floating Kiwi Medallions. Did they stop early? Betty Butter Ganz? Steve Webkinz? Mandy?
It was 1 p.m. Pacific Standard Time and they started floating, got all 5 thank you Webkinz Team

Kiwi is adorable, but I really wish they would assign the Floating Medallion to one of the other Medallion Pets. Let’s give the Kiwi and the Snowy Retriever a rest. Give another Medallion pet a chance.

That’s what I do with the extra seasonal pet medallions. I think that most of the ones that I have for the Diamond Dragonfly are any pet ones that I’ve made.
This is such an adorable little fluffball! It’s hard to believe it’s been 5 years. Congrats again to the original designer, lolypop1412! I have collected so many kiwis over the years on various accounts that I am starting to feel like a native New Zealander! Although it’s sometimes a bit of a challenge to find just the right outfit for this pet, when you finally do, it’s worth it. It’s such a sweet, and gentle looking pet. It makes me smile when this flightless bird gets to soar over Kinzville in its hot air balloon. May it be joined by a new fan-designed medallion pet next year!
