I never realized I would have so many pieces of patchwork clothing. I was not able to solve either recipe I BROKE!!! :(

You can sell the patchwork clothes back in the WShop to recoup some of your money. Also check out all the little hints in the comments. They might help narrow it down for you.
@Trish7214 Thanks I have been doing exactly as you suggested I have sold my patchwork clothes back to the WShop and also I have been following your hints that you have posted. My problem is that I am looking at the original clothing item (dress, hoodie) too much trying to come up with the solution. Oh well I guess I will have to take a break from trying to solve the clothing recipes until i build up my KinzCash again. Again thanks Trish7214 your hints are greatly appreciated. Third time is the charm. Hopefully the moderators don’t delete this one too. Grab a pice of paper, and start a list for hoodie and another for dress. They won’t let me list them all together. They keep deleting that one. Now go back and write down all the hints for each under their heading. Since you now have that list handy, “pop” on over and grab the items that make the hoodie. For the dress, now that your list is together it should help narrow it down. Be careful out in the sun, don’t forget your cover. ;)
Well, my kinzcash has gone way down, but I finally figured out the recipes. Yay!

YES! if you sit like i did with a list & cross off items,it works! that’s how i got it,you need to just sit & think what wouldn’t make sense at all for the hoodie :)

The recipe for the dress actually does take one piece of deluxe clothing.
