A new, 8 step Adventure Scouts Summer Challenge starts today, on Webkinz Classic (desktop app and browser only). Complete the challenge by August 31, to earn your Adventure Earth Plaque and unlock special Earth Scout hats along the way. You’ll also earn an Earth Scout Gift Box every time you pass a step of this challenge. Drag the gift box into your room to choose an Enchanted Sapling that you can use to design a tree in your pet’s room!
Here’s how to play: Look for the first Adventure Scouts Summer Challenge icon on Webkinz Classic. It will be displayed along the left side of your screen:
You can click on the icon to review your tasks. Here’s a look at the first three tasks you’ll need to complete the first step of your summer challenge:
- Pick up 5 pieces of litter at Kinzville Park and take them to the recycling bin
- Spin the Wheel of WOW 2 times
- Buy an Adventure Scout Top at the KinzStyle Outlet
The amount of litter you’ll need to collect at Kinzville Park will increase with each step of this challenge. To collect litter, use the Things To Do menu to visit Kinzville Park, and look for litter on the ground. If you see a piece, click on it to add it to your litter bag:
The amount of litter you have collected will be displayed on the litter bag, positioned in the bottom right corner of your screen.
When you have collected some litter, find a recycling bin at the park and click on it to accesses the bin:
Now, you must drag your litter from the litter bag into the Compost or Recycling slots on the recycling bin:
Of course, you can spin the Wheel of WOW at the Games Arcade on Webkinz Classic, but the Adventure Scout Top is only available at the KinzStyle Outlet.
You’ll need to buy the Adventure Scout Top to complete the first step of the summer challenge. The top can be found on the first page of the TOPS section of the KinzStyle Outlet:
Once you complete the first step of the Adventure Scouts Summer Challenge, you’ll earn your first Earth Scouts Gift Box and the Earth Scout Level 1 Hat! When you drag the Earth Scouts Gift Box into your room, you’ll be able to choose an Enchanted Sapling! There are 10 different ones to choose from:
Once you choose your sapling, it will be added to your Dock. Drag an Enchanted Sapling from your Dock into your room to start designing your tree:
Each tree has three tops, trunks and bases to choose from, so there are many design options for each one! Once you are happy with your design, click the SAVE button, and your new tree will be added to your Dock.
Now you can drag the tree from your Dock, into a room to display it:
You will need to pick up litter and spin the wheel of WOW a specific number of time to pass each step of this challenge, but your third task will vary each step of the way.
In some cases, you will need to feed your pet Adventure Trail Mix to pass your task. There’s only one way to collect packs of Adventure Trail Mix this summer: Scout Leader Sophie Stockwell will be handing them out at Kinzville Park! Visit Sophie every day at the park, and click on her to collect Adventure Trail Mix:
As a special reward, if you manage to complete the Adventure Scouts Summer Challenge by midnight, August 31 (EST), you’ll earn the Adventure Earth Plaque as well as your Earth Scout Level 8 Hat and your final Earth Scouts Gift Box:

Hey there is no trash in the park. It has already been cleaned up. I waited 13 minutes and finally 1 can of pop but someone got it before me. I waited again for another minute before leaving. I’m too antsy to wait around the park looking like a hawk that long especially on these glorious summer days.
It’s going to take until August to find trash just for the first level. Exhausting! More trash needs to be available!
It’s crazy in the park right now with so many people picking up trash. I have found it’s easier at night when there aren’t as many playing.
It’s next to impossible to find “trash” in any of the parks. Wait for 5 minutes to see is any trash appears? And..IF the trash appears, you have to rush to get to the trash before another pet gets to it. If your computer/internet system has the slightest lag, you won’t be able to get to the trash before some other pet gets it. I get it. There are many players who love these games that take three months to play. I am not one of them. I did enjoy the Adventure Park last summer, as I had already played a couple of the Adventure Park Quest and love those. Cute small prizes and really nice ending prize. Other than the Adventure Park Packs and game, I am not a fan of any of the Adventure stuff, although I have created a few Adventure rooms on a couple of my accounts. I like them. Just don’t love them. I may play the first two or three levels, but I doubt I’ll finish the whole Adventure. BUT…..I DO hope that everyone who plays the game has a wonderful time and enjoys the adventure! Can’t wait to see what Adventure Rooms Michael will hopefully show us later! Have fun! :-)
I wish trash collecting wasn’t competitive. LOL it’s exhausting trying to outrun other players to grab the garbage! I still only have like score of 500 after playing for years. I want the future prizes so I hope to really get a boost this summer if I can outrun you guys :D

Hi, any tips for finding trash at the park? I keep finding nothing in most of the parts I have tried.
You have to sit awhile. The trash usually appears about every five minutes.The more pets there are in the park, the more trash there will be.
dawnshome Hi, The trash appears at 5 minute intervals for each hour 7:05, 7:10, 7:15 etc., occasionally it will appear at 7:17 when it doesn’t appear at 7:15 hope this helps you finding the trash. The more people in one park at any given time the more trash that will appear. I have also noticed a pattern of where the trash appears I usually start by the stage and then starting walking to the right down the side around the bottom and back up. Have also noticed if I have my dock put down I move a little quicker. Good luck with your trash collecting.

LOL! Find 5 pieces of trash in the park…… Then you all had better starting putting more trash IN the park! Over the 15 yrs and more that I’ve been playing, I have gone through multiple parks, choosing this park or that park number, and multiple parks in one try, only to find NO trash whatsoever. Lol and yes I am entirely serious. What stands out in my memory is visiting 9 different parks one day looking for trash, any trash, and finding. Not. One. Single. Piece. And no, I am not exaggerating, I wish I was.

This may sound really weird, but is it possible that an ad/pop-up blocker could be preventing you from having trash “pop-up” in the park? I have no idea how that all works, but it’s just a thought. Sally Webkinz or anyone more tech savvy than me, please weigh in…
I agree, I just spent 15 minutes (each) in 7 different parks and NOTHING. Yet it looked like all the other pets were running around gathering invisible trash and even saw them go to the bins so WTH? If you’re going to turn a passive part of the game into a free for all you better provide the goods because this is pushing my patience over the limit. How do you expect kids to cope doing this?
