The Bookworm Bed Retires on July 29th!

For every 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, etc., Webkinz pet adoption, you will find a Superbed Gift Box inside your pet’s adoption gift box. When you open it, you’ll be able to choose from one of the many amazing Superbeds inside!

On July 29th, 2020, we will be making a couple of updates to our Superbed inventory. First, we will be retiring the Bookworm Bed. So, if you’ve been waiting to pick up this studious sleeper, don’t wait any longer!

The reason we are retiring this older Superbed is to make room for a NEW Superbed! Here’s a sneak peek at the Desert Dreams Bed, available in the Superbed Gift Box starting on July 29th, 2020!

Please tell me if I have my thinking cap on straight. I have a few Superbed Boxes scattered thru my several accounts. If I want another Bookworm Bed I’d best get it before July 28. On the 28th, no matter how old or how new the Superbed Box is, its contents will be upgraded and the Bookworm Bed will no longer be in there, is that right?

Ah crap!! I’ve been sitting on an unopened Superbed since November because I had no idea which one I liked best! (or rather, I had no idea what kind of rooms I would put them in!) I guess now my decision has been made for me? I’m sorry, but I definitely like the Bookworm bed better than the Desert Dreams bed.

Do the pets have to be adopted with EStore points? Beacause I adopted another which would have put me for the superbed box but I didn’t get it. I paid cash. Just wondering

    • Sally Webkinz says:

No, they don’t have to be purchased through eStore points. Superbed boxes are awarded on the 10th adoption and then the 5th one after that, regardless of how your pet is purchased.

Do you have any hamsters? They don’t count towards pet totals.

Oh, that’s really good to know. I have 9 hamsters, and I thought my next pet adoption would get a superbed. I think that means that I actually have to adopt 2 more pets to get a bed. Not a problem for me, but good to know because I would have been confused if I didn’t get a bed with the next adoption, lol

This is my favorite bed!! It goes with a variety of room themes. I am getting a couple extras before it retires. I just added it this bed to my newest christmas theme room. I will not use the cactus bed much at all, if at all, it is cute but just not many uses for this theme for my pets.

    Love the desert dream bed.

  6. nanamama12 says:

Man, not going to happen. I would have to adopt at least 9 more pets to get one more box. I wonder what I can do with the new bed though?

    • nanamama12 says:

Wait…you only need 5 pets between boxes? I forgot about that…I have 2 virtual pets yet to adopt, plus I just found a Rockerz pet in the basement that needs adopted…I just might be able to do this thing!

I was thinking what I said early about that i wasn’t going to get that bookworm bed in time, I could trade my medallions even though 10 would trade for one, but it’s worth the try.

  8. pinkbluerainbowgirl says:

Do medallion pets count toward getting a superbed? Or do you have to have 10 adopted pets? -pinkbluerainbowgirl

So cool and can’t wait to get it into a room and start decorating. Michael just curious why did the cactus bed get designed so differently than the concept ?design?
