Collect floating bottles of DIY Rainbow Tie-Dye and look for the new premium bottle of DIY Retro Rainbow Tie-Dye in the FUN STUFF > DIY section of the WShop:
You can combine the new bottle of tie-dye with the DIY Wig, T-Shirt or Dress and a DIY Design Ticket on the Clothing Machine to make gift boxes that you drag into your room to earn common, uncommon or rare pieces of tie-dyed clothing!
The Retro Rainbow Tie Dye will remain in the WShop once the DIY Tie-Dye Event ends, but you will only be able to collect bottles of DIY Rainbow Die-Dye during this event!
From August 13 – 21, look for floating bottles of DIY Rainbow Tie-Dye and click on them to add them to your Dock (limited to 3 a day for free players, 4 for full and 5 for Deluxe players).
You can use your DIY Rainbow Tie-Dye to dye the DIY Dress, T-Shirt and Wig:
You can buy the DIY Dress, T-Shirt and Wig from the FUN STUFF > DIY Section of the W-Shop. You’ll also find DIY Design Tickets in the DIY section of the shop:
Combine a bottle of DIY tie-dye, a piece of DIY clothing and a DIY Design Ticket on the clothing machine to make a special DIY gift box:
When you drag the DIY gift box into your pet’s room, you’ll win a common, uncommon or rare piece of DIY clothing!
Remember, bottles of DIY tie-dye will only work when you combine them with DIY clothing and a Design Ticket on the Clothing Machine. They do not work with the DIY furniture pieces.

Where are the DIY bottles of dye located in your dock? Under what category?
They show up under the special category, the same place as coupons or webkinz newz boxes.
It is the same place as the coins and gift boxes.

I got a retro dye, but not for the clothing, I got the one for the furniture. I hope this isn’t a glitch because I really want the retro rainbow clothing dye!!!

I just got a retro furniture dye, too. I sure hope this gets fixed soon, it’s already a couple days into the event.
So far, we haven’t won any of the dyes yet.
Hi KarenaJ. The Capybara in the clubhouse is giving the “DIY RETRO DYE”. It can be used on the DIY Armchair, DIY Lamp, DIY Rug, and DIY Window. The article said the Capybara would give the “DIY RETRO RAINBOW TIE-DYE”. This is used on the DIY clothing and hair. I am ok with the change. AuntietoEW

Hey, random question, but were you guys ever able to fix that glitch in the trading room that started up, in like, May or something? I’ve been staying out as a precaution. I heard that a lot of innocent accounts got banned because the server thought they were cheating.
Oh! I sure do hope the capybara is in a good mood for the next couple of weeks! :) Because that retro rainbow dye is GROOVY!
