A new Magic W event starts today, and will run until June 18, on Webkinz Classic! During this event, look for a Magic W floating across your screen, and click on it to earn a pack of seeds or one of three potted plants! There are fourteen different packs of seeds to collect, including the new pineapple seeds!
Here’s a look at what you can win:
You will be awarded one random prize each time you manage to click on a floating Magic W (limited to 1 a day for free players, 2 for full and 3 for Deluxe members). So, play every day for the best chance to collect the new pack of seeds!
Drag a pack of seeds into your pet’s room to plant them. Once it’s ready, you can click on your plant to harvest it!

No pineapple seeds. so sad
I didn’t receive any pineapple seeds during this event. Will they be back, and easier to find, in the future?
Well this event is over now. I played every day and NO PINAPPLE SEEDS.

So disappointed my this event! Managed to get only 1 package of pineapple seeds on my 11 accounts, 10 accounts don’t have any. I really with these events and the wheels would not be fixed when awarding prizes, this is ridiculous!!! Not able to get a New prize over a ten day period something wrong with this. It was not mentioned that the seeds were rare. Why is it that so many players were not able to get the pineapple seeds?

It’s not specifically rare, but it’s a large prize pool. The larger the prize pool, the lower the odds of any individual item being awarded.
The pineapple seeds seem very hard to win. I have been on every day have not won any!
The answer to your question is NO I did not manage to find the new pineapple seeds. All I managed to receive from this event was daily disappointment and anger when I received lettuce seeds over and over.
DAY #8 – At last I finally got a package of the NEW pineapple seeds, still have 10 accounts that have not received one package. There is something wrong with the system how the prizes are being awarded. If it take a player this long to receive a item, a NEW item there is something wrong. :( Changes need to be made how prizes are awarded in the future.
Wanted to let someone know that if you try to sell the Snow Pea seeds at the WStore, you get a message saying “Data for item XXXXX (long number) not found.” and the app crashes. Not sure that’s the ONLY seed packet that’s happening with, but that’s the one I figured out.
The workaround for this is to plant the seeds before trying to sell them.
Great that there’s a ‘workaround’ but why is it even necessary? Too many broken things still and I’m really hoping these issues and many others that have been posted about recently are rectified in the browser version that’s coming. I must say, someone over there really needs to pay attention to responses on here regarding how ‘we’ see things and actually take heed to them. You do not want to keep upsetting the masses over a virtual game that awards virtual prizes that do not cost the company a thing. As a kid’s game, it should be making people happy, not sad and frustrated. Thanks for listening and truly, we do appreciate everything Ganz and its team does/has done, that’s why so many of us have stuck around for 20 years.
That’s the idea behind returning to the browser, as many of these bugs cannot be fixed with our current configuration.
Thanks Sally – do you know if anyone is planning to make all theme items start with the theme name? And if not can you suggest it for us? Makes creating a room in one theme much easier to do than digging for odds and ends.
I can pass it on, but I know that a dock search is definitely an improvement that is planned.

THANKS for posting this, as i have been spending time on two accounts Hoping! to get the MINT plant AS I WAS UNABLE TO GET IT EVEN THOUGH USED EVERY OPPORTUNITY. so now, also once again, in spite of doubly trying i have not even gotten the pineapple seeds Either. ugh. sorry to be the spoil sport complainer, but seriously! something not right here. thanks for reading. best, k.
