Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for the next theme they would like added to the W-Shop. And the winner is… the Toadstool theme!
This new theme will be available on Wednesday August 6th, but in the meantime, keep visiting Webkinz Newz because we will be showing you concept drawings as the items for the new Toadstool theme are being created. Here are Hailey and Elwin to explain more:
Hailey: “What a wonderful choice! This has the potential to be such a beautiful theme. Thank you to everyone who voted, but we still need your help! Please leave a comment below offering your ideas as to exactly what type of furniture you would like to see included in this theme.”
Elwin: “Exactly! It’s up to YOU to decide what you would like to see included in this theme. On Friday, we will be releasing the first set of concept drawings based on your suggestions and ideas… I can’t wait!”

I would like this furniture to be indoor/outdoor. I think the toadstool theme would look great in the garden…and I love decorating outdoor themes best!
Okay Ganz make it, but please don’t go Mushroom Crazy just a little here a little there is fine. I heard some people talking about stone use stone and mainly red mushrooms but some blue and purple too make it magical!
I like the idea of different colored toadstools. Perhaps you could also put in like a pond surrounded by toadstools and incorporate something fairy related. I think that this theme is going to be great!
Giant mushroom fridge, a bath with little toadstool lights on the edges that light up, glowing mushroom lamps, little toadstool tools for the table, a bed, a toadstool wall decoration, A tv with toadstool sprouts, flooring with little toadstools that look like they pop out,and a wallpaper that has toadstools along the bottom half and a marshy look along the top half.
I knew this theme would win! To be honest, I liked all of them. But this one in particular seemed to be really popular. I have a few ideas for the items in this room theme. I imagine the walls and floors to be sort of like a secluded section of a marsh. Something very green and outdoorsy. Maybe even a few puddles? The wallpaper should have trees on it. For tables, I think that there should be a great big round toadstool dining table, with a smaller table for a side table. You already have one chair, but maybe you could add a nice couch too, made from two toadstools side by side. The bed could be on top of a giant toadstool, with pillows and a nice blanket. Now for something a bit unusual. I think that there should be a toadstool trampoline. Overall, this theme needs to be bright, with lots of different colors of toadstools. However, I would like it if not every single item was toadstool based. Maybe a few items that are just sort of marshy. Pieces that can easily be transferred into rooms featuring other themes, like the Lily Pad theme.
This is the theme I voted for I’m so happy it won. Also some ideas I have are first have a toadstool marsh or hot spring that would be like bath tub that is 2 by 2. Also I think a toadstool hideout would be cool too. The bed should be like a patch of grass with some toadstools in it. Maybe there could be a lamp with like 3 or 4 of the flat toadstools piled on each other. Another is a toadstool trampoline. I think in this new theme there should be cool items like the ones available for points but for kinz cash for once. Lastly I think a waterfall with toadstools, a grassy toadstool TV, flooring that has the look of grass and bookshelves that are like grass with little toadstools beside them and stone decor would be cool too.
I think they’re should be a Toad Stool Wallpaper and Flooring, a Bed, and just the usual items you see in the other room themes, but I also agree.. Please try to make it so all the furniture isn’t just Red.
Tree swing! I really hope this theme isn’t just for deluxe members, though…
